With China developing into the second largest economy in the world,the domestic people pursuit of material life is becoming more and more diverse.In order to meet the growing material demands and improve the economic development,the Chinese government has formulated a policy of supply-side structural reform to facilitate the economic growth.This policy asks for supplying more goods with high quality to the demand side,thus as the microcosmic body of supply,the enterprise should promote the “customeroriented”production mode,which is fundamental for the enterprise to survive and win the market.Currently,the big data has revealed that the heterogeneity of customer requirement for the products and services increased rapidly in the social life.Under this scenario,for the purpose of enhance the ability to continuously meet,or even surpass,customer needs in the stages of product development,design and production,this thesis is carried out from three main aspects,with which the main research contents and conclusions are as follows.· Identify the heterogeneous customer requirements(CRs)With Internet penetration across a broad range of the industries,numerous online open businesses for customer participation grew rapidly.In this thesis,the online customer participation platform is taken as the research object,and a method based on the local pattern detection is proposed.Specifically,a novel algorithm,called Bi HCR is designed to identify the customer requirements with binary type.And a case for the smartphone development has proved the effectiveness of the new algorithm in big biclusters and their overlaps detection.Moreover,a CC algorithm for hierarchical customer requirement identification is introduced in this thesis,and the significance of the results in garment modular production design is verified.Finally,a conceptual framework of customer requirements identification is constructed and the detailed steps are clarified for manufacturers.· Transform the customer requirements into engineering characteristics(ECs)Using the quality function deployment(QFD)as the chief tool for product design,a fuzzy QFD model is formulated,taking the multi-segmented market into consideration.Then,a chance-constrained programming(CCP)approach is adopted to convert the fuzzy model into a counterpart crisp one.Afterwards,an analytical method based on a new theoretical framework is proposed to further transform the CCP model into an equivalent explicit model that can be solve directly by the algorithmic software.Our approach holds a broader applicability,and moreover,the treatment of solving the fuzzy model not only performs as an effective way to deal with the optimization problems,but also provides the product designers a chance to select the best solutions that can meet their risk preferences.An empirical case for the new yogurt design has validated the advantages of our approaches.· Monitor the ECs in production stageAiming to the features of production modes under the scenario of meeting heterogeneous customer requirements,a nonparametric control chart is put forward to realize the quality control for the ECs.First,it proposes a method which combining the principle of maximum entropy(ME)and the Heaviside step function to determine the distribution of ECs with the constraints of prior statistical information.The genetic algorithm is given to optimize the computation of Lagrange multiplier at the same time.The by using the ME distributions to approximate the true distributions of ECs,a novel approach based on the economy principle is proposed to design the control chart,with which the in-control region is determined by minimum the two type errors,i.e.,α + β.From the simulative case,taking the average run length as the indicator,our nonparametric control chart is proved to have a strong better process monitoring ability.This thesis has provided a series of approaches to satisfy customer requirements adapting to the processes of product development and manufacture,which can not only enrich the theory of product development,but also offer methods for effective supply in business activities.
