The deepening of the international division of labor has made the industrial association between countries deeper, but at the same time, the trend of "Reverse Globalization" has risen, making the current international trade situation more uncertain. Therefore,in this special period, fully understand the industrial association between China and its mayjor trading partners are urgently and necessary.Based on the WIOD(2016)database,this paper uses the trade value-added decomposition framework to measure the different added value of China's outflow to major trading partners and the different value-added inflows from these trading partners, and then analyze the value added of China and these trading partners. To the associated situation. At the same time, based on the “upstream” and “downstream” indices, the forward-looking relationship between China and these trading partners is analyzed. On this basis, empirically examines the correlation between value-added correlation(input-output linkage)and the economic development level and geographical distance of these countries(regions),and then summarizes China's value-added relationship with these countries(regions)The basic characteristics of the association. In addition,by comparing and analyzing the research conclusions from two perspectives, the similarities and differences between the value-added correlation and the input-output correlation are summarized. In terms of academic research, this paper analyzes the “quantity” and “quality” of China's industry association with its major trading partners based on the input-output analysis method, from the perspectives of value-added association and input-output association, distinguishing trade objects and integrating.Meanwhile, this paper take the forward association and backward association of value added(input and output)into consideration, the analysis of value-added association and the association between input and output are a useful supplement on the basis of existing research, and also to fully study China with these countries(The association feature between the regions provides data samples. In terms of practical applications, the differences in the forwardlooking association between China and different countries(regions)are closely related to us,and can also provide policy references for the formulation of corresponding industrial policies and trade policies. Therefore, whether it is from academic research or practical application, the research in this paper has its necessity and significance.Among the results of this paper, the main research conclusions of the value-added association include: the forward-looking association between China and its major trading partners is deepening, and the value-added association between China and countries(regions)is “diversified”,and the added value is associated with geography. The positive correlation and the forward association level are higher than the backward association level. The main research conclusions of input-output association include: the degree of association is deepening, the degree of backward association is higher than the degree of forward association, the degree of backward association has positive correlation with the level of economic development, and it has negative correlation with geographical distance.Forward association has negative correlation with distance level and economic development level. At the same time, comparing the results of the two perspectives,we can see the focus of the two perspectives analysis and some factors affecting the analysis of the two perspectives, such as the trade volume, trade structure, industry attributes, etc. And the comparison results reflect a "distorted" trade relationship between China and its trading partners.Based on the conclusions of these studies, the paper draws some research inspirations, such as “the key value of the value-added analysis based on the total value added of import and export trade and the added value of a single perspective”,“although the trade volume reflects the real trade situation. There is a lack of time, but it is still an important indicator for selecting and evaluating trading partners.” “The analysis of the value-added association perspective is more of a measure of “quantity”,while the analysis of the input-output association perspective is a measure of “quality” and "significant differences in the industrial association between the two perspectives, but there are some internal connections" and so on.Moreover,on the basis of the conclusions and revelations of the research, from the perspective of the long-term development of industry and trade, some suggestions in the corresponding policy formulation are given. For example,“the formulation of industrial policies needs to be combined with the impact of domestic value chains and the impact of global value chains”,“the formulation of industrial policies needs to be pointed, pay attention to weighing the “quality” and “quantity” in industrial development”.In the formulation of trade policy,it is necessary to comprehensively consider the “dependency” of the upstream industry and the “control” of the downstream industry” and “the formulation of trade policy needs to fully consider the specific differences of trading partners”.
