A Comprehensive Study On Intellectual Property Rights Protection Schema Of The Middle Eastern Countries Under "Belt And Road Initiative" | | Posted on:2021-02-14 | Degree:Doctor | Type:Dissertation | | Institution:University | Candidate:Mohamed Elsayed Mohamed Nourel | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:1369330602494443 | Subject:Public Management | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Intellectual Property Rights(IPR)have significant importance in the World Economy.Most of the world’s leading competitors strongly rely upon the application of their trademarks and copyrights.In this ground-breaking era risk is a gateway to an innovative economy.Assurance of IPR is a source of motivation for the entrepreneurs who keeps pushing the boundaries for introducing state of the art ideas.One of the strongest emerging economies is the economy of China.In the year 2013,China took one of the biggest steps for the sake of its connectivity with the world,recognized as very famous "One Belt One Road(OBOR)".The current trade between BRI countries and China is of 6 trillion dollars.China’s BRI is successful in tying the cultural,economic,and trade knots between 61%of the world population,thus increasing the need for new rubrics for the strengthening of intellectual property rights to keep all the involved parties on the same page.The interaction among the middle east and China has created the most IPR paradoxes that may hinder the strategic relationship.This research study is based on aims to explore the IPR concerning factors in the context of China’s global motives reflecting in "One Belt One Road" initiatives between the Middle East and China.Whether IPR Paradigm can be a valuable instrument to enhance the strategic relationship between China and the Middle East,the purpose of the thesis is to identify and develop a research hypothesis and to test them to highlight those factors which are playing an important role in strengthening IPR Paradigms.Due to these drastic ventures,the paradigm shift has led to a huge research scope thus this research is following in the steps required to identify the most dominant and conflicting factors of IPR protection.This research is based on the survey research method design.The research was initiated with the selection of variables and determining the dependent and independent ones.The independent variables of this research study have great significance as the empirical results have shown a huge impact on the IPR Paradigm shift among the BRI countries.Using Linear Regression Model in Statistical Package for Social Sciences(SPSS),the quantitative results of this study show that the application of these variables has highly significant for strengthening IPR Paradigm concerning by Culture(β=0.18,p<0.05),Economic collaborations(β=0.215,p<0.05),Research Collaboration(β=0.218,p<0.05)and Copyrights(β=0.184,p<0.05).This research holds a good future scope as determining the IPR Paradigm shift is important in organizing and rearranging the premeditated association between China and the Middle East,this research thesis also formulated to test the theory and examine the influences resulting in enhancing the IPR Paradigm shift.Future implications contain the capacity of further evaluation of these determined relationships among variables,by different statistical analyses on heterogeneous tools. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Intellectual Property Rights, the Middle East, One Belt One Road, Research Collaboration, Economic collaboration, copyrights, Confidentiality, Ownership, IPR Institutions | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
