development of the Guangxi industry.At present,under the open environment of opening to the outside world,Guangxi needs to make full use of the existing advantages,such as location,resources and policy,to give full play to the industrial agglomeration effect and accelerate the development of the local economy and society.In this context,it is an important issue to further study the opening up of Guangxi and promote the development of industrial agglomeration in Guangxi.The research results can provide a reference for the expansion of the industrial agglomeration of Guangxi to further promote the opening of the outside world.This paper argues that in recent years,open promotion has become one of its leading strategies.In recent years,especially the " 12 th Five-Year planning " the full development of Guangxi’s opening up cooperation has made great achievements.Guangxi has basically formed the pattern of opening to the outside world,a relatively perfect opening to the outside world has been basically completed,and all-round,multi-level,wide areas become its prominent features of the opening to the outside world,the role of industrial agglomeration significantly improved.However it is undeniable that the promotion of industrial agglomeration development is still the center of Guangxi’s economic development.The quality of industrial development is directly affecting the Guangxi economic development’s quality.According to the existing industrial agglomeration,foreign trade and industrial agglomeration,as well as foreign direct investment and industrial agglomeration related research literature,opening up plays a very important role for the development of industrial agglomeration,especially for the relatively backward Guangxi,the industrial development is the key to solving the problem of economic backwardness.In the case of strengthening the trend of economic globalization,the degree of opening to the outside world is not only closely linked with the industrial agglomeration in Guangxi,but also has an important influence on the industrial development as Guangxi’s economic support.The innovation of the thesis mainly includes the following three aspects: First,from the perspective of research,different from the existing domestic literature focuses on the influence of overall economic growth and opening up of regional industrial agglomeration and regions,this paper takes Guangxi as the research object,mainly from the opening of foreign trade,foreign direct investment and other aspects to analyze the concrete methods,this paper uses the statistical model and analysis method,to eliminate the endogeneity of explanatory variables and may be omitted,thus improving the accuracy of model estimation.Third,from the research content,according to the characteristics and spatial characteristics of industrial agglomeration,industrial agglomeration and development economics context,analysis of the impact of the opening of Guangxi industrial cluster analysis method of systematic theoretical analysis and empirical test is used for the first time,analysis of the content is more comprehensive,system analysis results for the open economy can provide reference a more reliable and practical basis for the development of industrial agglomeration in Guangxi.Through research,the paper believes that Guangxi’s opening to the outside world has a far-reaching impact on its industrial agglomeration development.It is also comprehensive and systematic.An objective and reasonable opening pattern with Guangxi’s specific facts is conducive to Guangxi’s industrial agglomeration development and economic and social development.The paper follows the order of ―ask question,analyses the question,and solve the question‖,utilize the theory of opening to the outside world,the theory of economic globalization and regional economic integration,the theory of regional economic development,the theory of industrial agglomeration,the theory of balanced growth of regional economy and the theory of non-equilibrium growth,the theory of industrial development.At the same time,this study insists on the combination of theory and practice,the use of integrated panel regression estimation and other econometric research methods.The paper comprehensively and systematically analyzes the characteristics and basic facts of the industrial agglomeration in Guangxi under the condition of opening to the outside world,and then has a preliminary understanding and overall grasp on Guangxi industrial agglomeration development under the conditions of opening up.Based on that,this paper further studies the facts and characteristics of Guangxi’s opening up to the outside world and the development of industrial agglomeration in Guangxi under the condition of opening to the outside world,then theoretically analyzes the influence of opening to the outside world on industrial agglomeration in Guangxi.After that,from the perspective of empirical analysis and based on time series and regional panel data,this paper further empirical test of the opening up to the impact of industrial agglomeration in Guangxi.This article argues that under the condition of opening to the outside world,the location,resources,policy,investment and rooting are the important factors influencing the industrial agglomeration in Guangxi.At the same time,the development of industrial agglomeration has changed the regional economic operation mode,and push forward Guangxi regional economic and social development.Therefore,industrial agglomeration is also an important way for regional economic growth in Guangxi.Based on the general conclusion of the paper,this paper puts forward the policy proposal resource-dependent industries,added value is not high,low technical content,sustainable development,The role of economic development is limited.3.The innovation ability of the main enterprises of Guangxi industrial agglomeration is insufficient.The main body of Guangxi’s agglomeration industry is mainly state-owned enterprises,mostly extensive industries,mostly relying on raw materials and high energy consuming industries.Its intrinsic driving force of innovation is seriously affecting the sustainable development of industrial agglomeration.In 2012,the Guangxi government plans to do bigger and stronger Guangxi industry,speeding up the development of the food industry,automobile industry,paper and timber processing,shipbuilding and marine engineering equipment industry,mechanical industry,non-ferrous metal industry,electronic information industry,bio industry,petrochemical industry,pharmaceutical manufacturing industry,metallurgical industry,power industry,building materials industry,textile and leather industry 14 billion dollar industry and the 10 strategic emerging industries.However,the driving force of technological innovation on Guangxi’s industrial transformation and upgrading is very limited,which is mainly reflected in the fact that Guangxi’s investment in technology R & D is seriously insufficient,which leads to the fact that the creation capacity of intellectual property is not good.At the same time,due to the lack of investment in innovation and R & D,resulting in a lack of innovation platform,a serious lack of innovative talents,and a shortage of high-end talents in the field of advanced research and development.4.The degree of opening to the outside world and the degree of industrial agglomeration in Guangxi are changing positively.On the one hand,from a regional perspective,the empirical test of opening up to Guangxi’s industrial agglomeration shows that Guangxi’s current opening up has promoted its industrial agglomeration.At the same time,the increase of the number of regional businesses,the improvement of consumer demand,the improvement of urbanization level and the improvement of transportation conditions are all conducive to industrial agglomeration in Guangxi.It is an important factor to promote the industrial agglomeration of Guangxi.The local government’s participation in the economy has a negative impact on industrial agglomeration,reflecting the participation of local governments in the economy,which is not conducive to the improvement of industrial agglomeration.The virtual variables of the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone have a significant negative impact on industrial agglomeration,and the virtual variables in Liuzhou have a significant positive impact on industrial agglomeration.On the other hand,from the industry level,this paper analyzes the positive impact of opening to the outside world on industrial agglomeration,and the opening to the outside world has significantly promoted the degree of agglomeration of various industries.The average size of the enterprise and the labor intensity of industry in the subdivision industry have greatly improved the degree of agglomeration of the industry.It is reflected that the larger the scale of enterprises is,the higher the degree of geographical agglomeration is.The industry with high labor intensity tends to concentrate on the same place.In addition,the improvement of regional traffic and transportation conditions is beneficial to the industrial agglomeration of the subdivided industries.Based on the above conclusions,in order
