| Under the background of global economic cooperation,in order to open up the market and expand economic growth,thus develop of regional economic cooperation.At the present,The ASEAN countries has signed the free trade agreement “10+1 trade cooperation model” respectively with East Asian countries(China,Japan and South Korea),for the construction of East Asian economic integration network system.The China-ASEAN free trade area is the first one of the start and the greatest influence of regional economic cooperation.The establishment of China-ASEAN regional cooperation has enabled bilateral trade zero tariff and quota free,which has brought new opportunities and challenges to the bilateral textile industry.Since ancient times,the textile industry is one of the important pillar industries of China and ASEAN,and plays an important role in promoting economic development and employment.In the past,China and ASEAN long with its low labor costs as the manufacturing and supplier base of many textile and apparel brands in the world.Because China-ASEAN textile industry has great similarities in terms of factor endowments,industrial level,export markets and commodity structure,it aggravates the competition of bilateral in the world’s textile industry.From the current trends,is there any possibility of further bilateral cooperation? Is there a potential space for development? How can China and ASEAN countries improve their own advantages and carry out specialized division of labor and cooperation? How to promote the upgrading of the textile industry structure so as to improve the added value and profit of the goods and have the strength to compete with other economies? What position is in the textile industry chain at present? What are the development characteristics and the development potential of each chain of the textile industry chain in each country? What are the factors that promoting the cooperation of the bilateral textile industry chain?Based on the above problems,this research intends to adopt the trade competition and complementary trade relations research methods: comparative analysis,theoretical research and empirical analysis,qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of the effects of bilateral textile industry during 2006-2015,so as to demonstrate the feasibility of the establishment of bilateral trade cooperation.Firstly,the development of history,the bilateral textile industry’s main characteristics are elaborated,as well as change on bilateral textile import and export trade structure;then using the similar products export index and trade competitiveness index to measure the bilateral textile industry the trade competition relationship;using revealed comparative advantage index,trade complementary index and intra industry trade index to measure the bilateral textile industry the trade complementarity relationship,in order to clear the resources factor endowment advantages and locational advantages.Secondly,the overall situation of the bilateral textile industry chain are analyzed,so that clear all the countries in the textile industry chain division basis;then research the current situation of each chain of bilateral textile industry chain from the supply and demand chain,enterprise chain,space chain,value chain,in order to clear the characteristics,the position of each country in the textile industry chain,as well as the bilateral in textile field’s cooperative potential and prospects.Thirdly,based on the trade gravity model to constructs the factor model that promoting the cooperation of the China-ASEAN textile industry chain,and further increase the three of basic factors and the two of institutional factors that promoting the cooperation of the bilateral textile industry chain on whether or not;then base on the basis of the first three final economic models to constructs a new trade gravity model to examine the main factors that promoting the cooperation of the bilateral textile industry chain.Research that the trade scale of China – ASEAN bilateral textile industry is not large,but the tightness is constantly strengthened;the establishment of China – ASEAN Free Trade Area has changed the trade structure of the bilateral textile industry;China’s textile industry is in the stage of industrial structure adjustment and upgrading and ASEAN’s textile industry is undertaking the industry transferred from China and the rest of the world to become a new world factory;The low costs of labor and raw materials make the bilateral textile industry have fierce competition in the international market.However,due to the differences in economic development stages of each country,education levels,values,cultural customs and religion beliefs,aspects make it a space for cooperation;Both ASEAN countries and China as different position of textile industry chain,but its revolve around the production,processing,sales and other aspects of the product formed complementary trade relations;GDP per capita,Efficiency enhancement and the establishment of China – ASEAN Free Trade Area have positive effects on the cooperation of the bilateral textile industry chain,while Distance,Innovation and sophistication,Rule of law have negative effects on the cooperation of the bilateral textile industry chain;the regional cooperation has given the bilateral and even the world’s textile industry brings the great impact,its brought the scale economy effect,the competition stimulate effect,the investment stimulus effect,the free flow of production factors and accelerate the economic growth effect.This research put forward the corresponding policy recommendations for promoting the sustainable development of bilateral textile industry: China and ASEAN countries should speed up infrastructure construction in the region,improve the logistics system,the establishment of a full range of talent,technology and information service platform;accelerate the pace of industrial structure adjustment and upgrading of textile industry,focus on technology research and development and brand innovation;encourage enterprises participate in the international division of labor and regional cooperation,make full use of the preferential trade policy FTA to strengthen exchanges and cooperation;to encourage enterprises to actively use ecommerce platform to accelerate business model innovation;using the “One Belt One Road” platform to strengthen the trade complementarity of the bilateral textile industry,such as building a regional textile industry clusters,integrating bilateral business partners,such as laborers,manufacturers,entrepreneurs,sellers and other people to carry out business cooperation,to meet the buyer’s “One-Stop Service” needs,and then take a share in the increasingly fierce competition. |
