The increasing demand for network access by users poses challenges to the existing network facilities. With the development of hardware and high speed wireless communication technologies, users have the conditions to be network providers while being network customers. This thesis will study the network access strategies using users' resources. As users have diverse demands for network access, the corresponding solutions will be proposed for two kinds of demands for network access respectively, namely general web demands and video demands. In the strategy design, the selfishness and sociality of users are fully considered.Incentive mechanisms will be proposed to promote users' participations in the network resource sharing. The research work of this thesis mainly includes:· This thesis will propose a mobile collaborative network model using users' network resource for the access of general web demands. We define the utility of users in the mobile collaborative network, according to different network access needs and the tightness of social relations among users. This model focuses on the selfishness of users and designs a virtual currency trading system. We also design an incentive mechanism for users based on the strength of social relationships. Thus the Nash bargaining method is used to solve the resource allocation and routing strategies of the mobile collaborative network.A large number of experimental results prove that the designed mobile collaborative network model can improve the performance of users' network access.· For the video access of users, this thesis proposes a caching strategy design using the content hotspot of user in the static environment. The communication and storage capabilities of content hotspots are utilized to provide efficient edge content distribution services for mobile users. In the design of the cache strategies, this thesis considers the constraint conditions of limited device storage and interference of wireless networks.Based on the consideration of users' selfishness, this thesis proposes caching policies based on a two-stage Stackelberg game.Content providers and the content hotspot owner decide on caching policies and pricing strategies, based on their respective revenue optimization principles. Finally, experimental results verify the feasibility of content hotspot as edge caching node.· In view of the characteristics of mobile users' access for video, this thesis proposes to design a local caching system by using the storage and communication resources of mobile devices, based on device-to-device(D2D)communication.In addition,energy-aware caching policies are designed for the purpose of saving transmission energy consumption. In the system design, this thesis analyzes the mobility pattern of mobile devices based on the Poisson point process. We also considers the heterogeneity of users' interest in video contents and the uncompleted resource sharing willingness. In this thesis,a transaction model is designed in the D2 D local caching system to promote fair sharing of resources. In the design of low power cache strategy, this thesis designs the cache strategies and algorithms for two caching scenarios respectively, namely the non-coordinated caching and the coordinated caching. Finally, the experimental results show that the cache strategy in this thesis can save about 10%-20% of the transmission energy comparing with the traditional method of designing the cache strategies based on the global popularity of contents.
