The new generation of intelligent information technology represented by cloud computing,big data,Internet of things and mobile network has become a new direction of the development of information society.From the perspective of theoretical research and business practice,the value of cloud computing to organizational performance has been greatly recognized.One of the primary concerns of an enterprise migration to the cloud is the choice of cloud deployment models and security issues under different deployment models.At present,there are relatively few studies on the selection of cloud deployment models,and there are conflicting conclusions on the impacts of some internal characteristics of enterprises.According to the resource-based view(RBV),an enterprise is an aggregation of resources and capabilities,and its internal characteristics are not only reflected in the absolute amount of resources and capabilities,but also in the proportion of their relative structure.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the influence of enterprises' resource structure characteristics and IT capability structure characteristics on cloud deployment model selection,which could expand the research perspective of cloud deployment model selection;reveal the influence mechanism of enterprises' structural characteristics on cloud deployment model selection;advance the complementary research of RBV and transaction cost theory(TCT)in cloud deployment model selections behaviors.In addition,cloud risk prevention and control are related to the success of cloud deployment.And the enterprise's IT capability is the premise and foundation of cloud risk prevention and control.However,existing researches seldom focus on their impact on cloud risk prevention and control from the perspective of internal IT capabilities of enterprises,and lack of classified studies on cloud risk prevention and control and the different categories of IT capabilities required under different deployment models.Therefore,the analysis of the differential impact of different types of IT capabilities on cloud risk prevention and control under different cloud deployment models is of great significance for guiding the IT capability structure optimization strategies of enterprises under different deployment models,as well as promoting the success of cloud risk prevention and control and cloud deployment.From the perspective of structural characteristics within the enterprise,combining the theory of RBV,TCT and enterprise competence theory(ECT),based on 473 listed companies survey to collect primary survey data and secondary financial data,as well as using multiple Logistic regression analysis,partial least squares(PLS),and other statistical analysis method,this dissertation studies the influences of heterogeneous resource structure and IT capability structure of an enterprise on cloud deployment model selections,and further studies the influence of IT capability structure on cloud risk prevention and control under different deployment modes and the difference in degree.The main research results are summarized as follows:(1)Research on the influence mechanisms of the enterprise's heterogeneous resource structure and IT capability structure on cloud deployment model selections.In this dissertation,physical capital intensity(PCI)and knowledge capital intensity(KCI)are introduced to classify the characteristics of enterprise resource structure and analyze its impact on the selection of cloud deployment model.In addition,this paper divides the structure of enterprise's IT capability into relational,managerial and technical IT capabilities,and discusses the influence of diverse IT capability types on cloud deployment model selections and their mechanisms.Taking the deployment model of public cloud as the baseline category,the empirical study is conducted with multiple Logistic regressions.The results show that PCI and relational IT capability have positive impacts on the choice of public cloud deployment model;KCI,managed IT capability and technical IT capability have negative impacts on the choice of public cloud deployment model.(2)Analysis of the impacts of IT capability structure on cloud risk prevention and control under different cloud deployment models,and the difference in degree.Starting from the IT capability structure within the organization,this dissertation studies the impact of relational,managerial and technical IT capabilities in the IT capability structure on cloud risk prevention and control,and further analyzes the mediating effect of cloud risk prevention and control on the IT capability structure and the success of cloud deployment.Partial least squares statistical analysis is used to verify the hypotheses.It is found that the three IT capabilities in the enterprise IT capability structure have significant positive impacts on cloud risk prevention and control.And cloud risk prevention and control have a positive impact on the success of cloud deployment.However,the influence of relational IT capability and technical IT capability is significantly different under different deployment models.(3)Proposed the strategic selection of the enterprise's cloud deployment model and the countermeasures of cloud risk prevention and control.Based on the research results of resource structure and IT capability structure on cloud deployment model selection,this dissertation expounds the strategic selections of cloud deployment model for enterprises with heterogeneous resource structure and different IT capability structure types.It also further analyzes the strategies for strengthening different types of IT capabilities to deal with cloud risk prevention and control under different cloud deployment models.
