This paper takes the life etiquette,one of the collective activities of Ke-village in Kashgar City,Xinjiang Province,as the research object,and comprehensively examines the life etiquette of the village based on the first-hand materials of field work,through Marxist religious theory and Bourdieu practical theory.The paper,centering on the family field,deeply describes and analyzes the processes of three life etiquette,such as naming ceremony,wedding ceremony and funeral,and proposes a new perspective to understand the existence and operation of society through human life and thoughts.The paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter introduces the historical evolution and current situation of the life etiquette of Ke-village.The second chapter analyzes the process of naming ceremony,and discusses the way people greet new members and incorporate them into their relatives by using a series of symbolic forces to adjust the position of each member in the family.The third chapter explains the marriage strategy,the practice of marriage,the reproduction of interpersonal relationships and the specific ways of establishing a new family by describing the wedding process.The fourth chapter analyzes the funeral process and elaborates on people's thoughts about the ultimate value of human beings and their positions in the universe when the members of society are reduced.The fifth chapter summarizes the intrinsic relationships among the naming ceremony,wedding ceremony and funeral of Ke-village,and clarifies the potential tendency of ritual as a habit to adapt in the new environment.The paper concludes: first,Ke-village is a family oriented network of members and their cultures where people are always used to acting in a ritual manner.Second,life etiquette is an important transitional ritual at all stages of life,and we can understand the inner world of Ke-villagers,especially their ultimate value of life by studying of it.Third,life etiquette is an important way for Ke-villagers to join new members,establish new families,reduce social members,and adjust their positions in the social field.It is internalized into physical capital while externalizing in people's actions in which it plays the role of determining functions.
