Study On The Influential Factors Of Social Scientific Data Sharing Based On Grounded Theory

With the ever-rising essentiality of computer network technology in scientific research,internet has changed the ways how scientific research personnel exchange information and E-Sience has gradually become one of the main scientific research context.In the wake of this,the colossal data generated in the process of scientific research make the researchers confronted with unprecedented challenges.The role of scientific data in scientific research is becoming more and more prominent.Scientists not only solve scientific problems by real-time and dynamic monitoring and analyzing of mammoth data,but also are obliged to ponder,design and carry out scientific research on the basis of data.With the in-depth widespread application of computer network technology in the field of social sciences and the rapid increase of scientific data in this field,the research on humane sciences data sharing will inevitably become an important subject of scientific data research.By sorting out the domestic documents,the dissertation holds that Chinese study of scientific data sharing,in the earlier period,focused on the macro-introduction of its meaning and advantages,and later turned to the platform construction and technological application and policies status quo of scientific data sharing.Compared with foreign studies,we have made less empirical study of user behavior,ours mainly focusing on natural siences data,and far less of social sciences data sharing.Besides,our research on scientific data sharing is too macroscopic,and we lack empirical study to solve special problems.We also find Chinese researchers in the field of social science have low consciousness of scientific data sharing,chaotic scientific data management and sharing compared with nature science.Therefore,the dissertation conducts a profound empirical study of social siences data sharing,laying emphasis on the life cycle structuring of our social sciences research and scientific data and on the driving,impeding factors in the development of social siences data sharing.Guided by the methodology of the grounded theory,by interviewing participants in social scientific data sharing and gathering data through questionnaire,this thesis establishes the model of the influential factors of social sciences data sharing,verifies the proposed models and keep optimizing it.The dissertation contains parts:The First Part:Mainly illustrates research background and meaning,the status quo of internal and external scientific data study,research objective,way of thinking,methodology,source,content&key innovationThe Second Part:The dissertation applies the Grounded Theory into study of social scientific data sharing.Worthy mentioning is the combination of Grounded Theory(qualitative research method)and statistical analysis method(quantitative research method)obviously surpasses each individual method alone,in terms of helping comprehending&studying social scientific data sharing.And theoretical sources are:life cycle theory,relative definitions and characteristics of scientific data,the features of social sciences,etc.The Third Part:In the first place,the dissertation acquires a great amount of interview materials through in-depth talk with some interviewees in Beijing,Shanghai,Nanjing and Anhui Province,transcribing and coding the interview materials,establishes the life cycle model of social scientific research and data and based on this,further come up with the model of the influential factors of social scientific data sharing.Flowingly,the thesis,based on the model of the influential factors of social sciences data sharing,gathers data by questionnaires both on line and off line,makes a one-way analysis of variance(one-way ANOVA),factor analysis,relative analysis by the light of statistical analysis and then optimize the model accordingly.The Fourth Part:Based on conclusions drawn in part 3,the dissertation puts forward certain strategies and suggestions for the future development of Chinese social scientific data sharing.By summarizing the main conclusions we have come to,the dissertation also points out the limitations in this study and proposes the direction and way of thinking for the follow-up research.
