over 60 reached 249 million, accounting for 17.9 percent of the country’s total population. The pension issue has become a major problem affecting the whole society.Nowadays, with the 70 th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, various comprehensive indicators of the society have been continuously improved, and people’s lives have been greatly enriched. The focus of various work has been to meet people’s needs for a better life.Tourism has been listed as the first of the "five happy industries".At the same time,China’s tourism industry has entered a period of industrial transformation.Facing the challenges brought by social transformation, tourism industry transformation and aging society, the development of tourism for the elderly can provide effective solutions from the practical level. If we can change the mismatch between the demand and emotional appeal of the elderly for tourism and the market supply, tourism can become a new way of life for the elderly after retirement, bringing new growth points to the development of the tourism market.Of course, while recognizing the positive effects of tourism on the elderly,we should also have a thorough and comprehensive understanding of their tourism needs. So this article tries to explore and compare the youth and elderly tourist’s perception of the attitude to tourism, travel restrictions, the cause of group travel, travel together in the process of subjective feeling and group support, also the above factors and the relationship between the tourism experience value and happiness, found in the link between the tourism and the emotional path of the elderly tourists. Therefore,it puts forward more targeted and effective marketing strategies for senior tourism product development and marketing. The focus of the study is to answer the following questions: why do the big data show that most elderly people choose to travel together? Is this a phenomenon of individual behavior or is it a common feature of older people? What are the reasons behind traveling with elderly people? How do these reasons relate to each other? How does traveling with others feel different from traveling alone? Can old people get happiness from traveling? How?Through the literature database, the author looked up the literature on the Well-being of the "Senior Tourism " and several related topics. The academic research on "tourism for the elderly" has been carried out earlier with relatively rich achievements: foreign researches on tourism for the elderly mainly focus on the discussion of their tourism motivation,decision-making,behavior and preference. However, domestic scholars are more interested in exploring the market prospect of tourism for the elderly, product development and other macro aspects, with strong applicability.Relevant researches on elderly tourism have adopted comprehensive research methods, including qualitative research, empirical analysis and mixed methods. The mathematical models used range from simple linear regression to complex structural equations. The basic theories used in the study of tourism for the elderly are push and pull theory and demand theory. The research on Well-being involves many disciplines, and the achievements mainly focus on the basic research and the development of measurement tools. There are few studies on the well-being of the elderly, most of which focus on the influence of demographic variables on the subjective well-being of the elderly.Since the research on this subject is less than 20 years old,the research on tourism Well-being of the elderly is rarely involved.Until now, there is no accepted definition of it.The research in China is still limited to the introduction of western theories and the qualitative research of basic theories, lacking empirical research and cross-group and localized research.Studies on companion travel are even less optimistic. At present, only a few scholars mention the composition of tourist companion groups in their studies on backpackers or online communities, and only a few articles on "companion travel" focus on the risks and legal disputes in the process of companion travel. The subject is well worth studying.During April to June 2019,a semi-structured interview was conducted with 34 elderly people and 16 children from 16 families. All seniors must be at least 55 years old and with the experiences of group travelling. The problem of interview outline comes from the combing of literature and the processing of colloquial language.Through interviews and transcriptional arrangement,a total of 90,000 words of qualitative research materials were collected. Then, with the help of phenomenological research method,MAXQDA 12 document editing software and ROSTCM 6.0 semantic extraction software, the obtained qualitative data were coded and extracted, and a total of 11 key elements were obtained.Combined with relevant theoretical framework, these 11 elements are refined and simplified again.Refining process, using the lifelong development of control theory, group theory, the author analyzes the reasons of the old people travel together, the content of the tourism experience, tourism and tourism experience happiness concept analysis and correlation analysis, the theoretical analysis in the process of combing out the elderly life satisfaction, tourism cognitive limitations,in tourism group support, travel experience value and happiness five variables and their mutual influence between eight assumptions. After that,a nationwide questionnaire survey was conducted.Through preliminary investigation and formal investigation, the empirical research method was used to explore the relationships between five variables of the relationship model between companion travel and elderly tourism happiness. Then, through group comparison, this paper analyzes and discusses the influence of different demographic variables and tourism basic characteristic variables on the elderly’s life satisfaction, tourism perception limit, group support, tourism experience value and tourism happiness respectively. The main findings are as follows:1.Through cross-group comparison, this paper finds that companion travel is one of the adjustment strategies for the elderly to offset the travel restrictions they face, rather than their own choice, and tries to correct the misjudgment that "the elderly prefer companion travel".2.Influence of the experience value of tourism happiness experience, sample travel distance, travel frequency and frequent residence type.3.The purpose of group travel for the elderly is to obtain group support.Although group support does not directly affect the generation of the elderly’s travel happiness, group support has a significant positive impact on the experience value.4.The interrelation between the five variables in this paper is not a mutual influence mechanism, but a chain structure influence path.5.The qualitative analysis and empirical results hide an "emotional" flow path of elderly companion tourism. Finally, based on these findings, management reference is proposed, and the following research is summarized and prospected. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Sense of Well-being in Tourism, Companion Tour, Tourism for the elderly, Experience Value, Perceived Constraints, Group Support | |
