Knowledge Competition And Discourse Construction: A Study Of International Energy Discourse

The dissertation is basically a study of the construction of enrgy disocorse under the framework of “knowledge–discourse relations”.Based on the study,my research purpose is to investigate the influence of knowledge–discourse on international energy politics and explores the mechanism of knowledge discourse construction.The introduction part mainly raises research questions.Firstly,it defines two core concepts: knowledge and discourse.Then,from the perspective of philosophy,linguistics,sociology and international relations theory,the relationship between knowledge and discourse is sorted out theoretically,which lays a theoretical foundation for the theoretical construction of this study.There are few research results on the interaction mechanism between knowledge and discourse in domestic and foreign academic circles,especially in Chinese literature.Based on inheriting and synthesizing the previous theoretical research,this study creatively puts forward its own theoretical analysis framework,and chooses historical cases and current cases for comparative study,and further improves the theoretical framework in case studies.The purpose of this paper coincides with the current theoretical frontier,that is,the latest exploration of scientific and technological construction of the research object in the theory of international relations.It also reflects the latest development stage of discourse theory,that is,the actor network composed of human agents and non-human agents jointly constructs the reality of our world.On the basis of grasping the status quo of this strand of research,this paper puts forward the innovative points and research difficulties,and establishes the research path of "scientific knowledge-energy discourse" interaction,which lays a solid foundation for subsequent analysis.Since energy transformation is a systemic change in the global scope,the cases selected in this study are representative,but the endowment of national energy resources is different,so is the stage of national development.The richness of energy discourse is far beyond the study of this paper.Discourse theory emphasizes discourse diversity and opposes discourse hegemony.The next research can cover more developing countries and energy discourse type.At the same time,scientific knowledge keeps progressing.How new knowledge guides our understanding of the objective world through discourse construction is an endless research resource under the framework of knowledge-discourse.
