Research On Islamic Harmony Thought From The Perspective Of Socialist Harmonious Society

This study of Islamic thought of harmony mainly refers to the concept of harmony embedded in Islamic culture.Most scholars study such issues from a religious perspective and their research is quite fruitful.Based on Marxism,with Marxist materialist dialectics as the main strategy,this dissertation systematically studies the content and theoretical system of Islamic thought of harmony,and the relationship between Islamic thought of harmony and socialist thought of harmonious society in the context of socialist harmonious society.Surrounding the harmonious social construction in Northwestern areas,it explores the significance of Islamic thought of harmony for the construction of socialist harmonious society.This study will be fulfilled majorly by theoretical study and empirical research.Theoretical research comprises three big areas:I.The relationships between thought of Socialist harmonious society and Islamic thought of harmony.On the basis of the study on the connotation of socialist harmonious society,the connotation of Islamic thought of harmony and its system composition,this dissertation thoroughly studies the interrelationship between thought of socialist harmonious society and Islamic thought of harmony from the interrelation in characteristics,the inclusion relation in content and the parallel relation in nature.II.The main content of Islamic thought of harmony.The system of Islamic thought of harmony is composed of "Belief in Allah" as the core,"Fortunes for Two Generations" as the prime thought,"Tolerance Fraternity" as the spiritual essence,and "Preachment of Good against Evil" as the basis of morality.Besides,the thought of harmony reflected in Islamic religion,ethics,economy,politics and other aspects of culture is also the main element in the system.Within the framework of this system,this dissertation illustrates the main content of Islamic thought of harmony from Islamic Ethics,the thought of harmony in Islamic political culture,the thought of harmony in Islamic economic culture as well as the view of harmony in nature in Islamic culture,and so on.III.The integration of thought of Socialist harmonious society and Islamic harmonious thought.This part includes the development of Islamic rational thought,the reasonable combination of Islamic rational thought and understanding of the party's ideological interpretation of religion,and the combination of Islamic thought of harmony and socialist ideology of socialist harmonious society.Empirical research is mainly done by means of questionnaire and interview,with the northwest as the example,by sampling Muslim respondents in Xinjiang,Qinghai,Gansu,Ningxia,and Shaanxi,and investigating Muslim masses'awareness of Islamic harmony and their understanding of the construction of socialist harmonious society.In research,a number of problems have been found and some appropriate countermeasures have been proposed and the statistics obtained will further support the study on this topic.By theory research,the dissertation summarizes and systemizes the components of Islamic harmonious thought system,explains the main content of the thought of harmony.Associating the research on the ideology of socialist harmonious society,it horizontally systemizes the relationship between socialist thought of harmonious society and the thought of harmony,from features,content and nature,and vertically the history of the combination of the Islamic rational thought and understanding of the party's ideological interpretation of religion.On this foundation this dissertation proposes the theoretical thought on the combination of the Islamic rational thought and understanding of the party's ideological interpretation of religion,which promotes this study from theoretical facet.Through empirical research,the researcher has learned Muslim masses' basic understanding on socialist theories of harmonious society and Islamic thought of harmony,found problems in practice and compensated for the lack of research,which makes this study more persuasive,and the result more convincing,reflecting the modernity and pragmatism of this study.The study shows that Islamic culture contains very rich and harmonious thought which can be summarized as a systematic structure and content of harmonious Islamic thought.Combined the needs of social development with harmonious Islamic ideology and socialist thought of harmony,the study also shows the further necessity of deepening the research and understanding in terms of the status and role of Islamic harmonious thought in building a harmonious socialist society.In short,in the category of Marxism as a discipline,a systematic study of religious thought must be guided by Marxist Outlook on religion,but avoid being trapped by the traditional paradigm,which has set,as a challenge,very high requirements for this study.Therefore,the accomplishment of this study itself means an innovation in research method and this simultaneously provides new ideas for the study of this sort of problems.
