Mao Zedong And The Cadre Education In Yan'an Period

The Yanan period was the mature period of Mao Zedong's education thoughts and practice,and it was also a period of great development in the history of the Communist Party's education for cadres.It was under Mao Zedong's vigorous advocacy and personal practice that the cadre education in Yan'an had achieved fruitful results,laying the foundation for the Communist Party of China's self-building and for the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.This dissertation selects “Mao Zedong and Yan'an cadre education” as the research topic.There are two main considerations: First,Mao Zedong played a crucial role in the education of cadres during the Yanan period;Second,from the current research.According to the results,it is still weak to study Mao Zedong's research on cadre education during the Yanan period based on historical methods.The introduction of this dissertation mainly defined the concept of Yan'an period and the education of cadres,introduced the reasons and significance of the topic selection,relevant research status,research methods,innovation and difficulties of the paper,as well as the research methods and basic framework of this paper.The body part of this dissertation consists of five chapters.The first chapter reviews and summarizes the thought and practice of Mao Zedong's cadre education before the Yanan period.The establishment of the Communist Party of China opened the prelude to the education of cadres.From the founding of the Party to the failure of the Great Revolution,the early leaders of the Party,under difficult and complicated conditions,have devoted a lot of energy to exploring the theoretical and practical work of cadre education,took the first step and played a pioneering role in Party's cadre education.Mao Zedong's thoughts and practice of cadre education in Yan'an were not accomplished overnight.It was born and developed on the basis of the Party's cadre education and its own theory and practice in the period of the Party's founding,the Great Revolution and Agrarian Revolution.The second chapter describes in detail the strategic thinking and practice of Mao Zedong's large-scale cadre education.Facing the task and mission of establishing a foothold in northern Shaanxi,reviving the revolution,and defeating Japanese imperialism,Mao Zedong deeply realized that it was necessary to complete the ideological transition and action conformity of the party's cadres through education.Under Mao Zedong's main advocacy and personal demonstration,the CPC Central Committee made timely strategic decisions to cultivate cadres on a large scale,quickly established institutions and trained cadres,and achieved an unprecedented leap in the number and quality of cadre ranks,of winning the War of Resistance Against Japan,which provided the fundamental guarantee.The third chapter mainly introduces Mao Zedong's promotion of "Sinicization of Marxism" education.After the War of Resistance Against Japan entered the phase of stalemate,Mao Zedong profoundly expounded on the importance of cadre training and learning for the Communist Party of China and for the Chinese revolution.He called for the launching of a learning competition for the entire party and set off an upsurge of learning within Yanan cadres.At the same time,we adopted the guidelines of running schools at the rear and in front,the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region,and the northern and southern basic area behind the enemy's line,and started to establish a more systematic cadre education system and carried out relatively systematic theoretical studies.The fourth chapter examines the education reform of cadres initiated by Mao Zedong in the Yanan Rectification Movement.The dogmatism in cadre education cannot be fundamentally solved.In order to establish a Marxist style of study that seeks truth from facts,Mao Zedong launched the Yanan Rectification Movement.In the rectification movement,with the integration of the basic theory of Marxism-Leninism and the realities of the Chinese revolution,the cadre school education and the education of on-the-job cadres have undergone all-round reforms.After the rectification,the style of study in the education of cadres has clearly improved.The whole party has firmly united on the basis of the Mao Zedong Thought that combines the universal truth of Marxism-Leninism with the concrete practice of the Chinese revolution.The fifth chapter gives a comprehensive summary of the education of cadres during the period of Yanan.Mao Zedong's thoughts and practice in the education of cadres in Yan'an trained a large number of talents for setting off the climax of the leadership of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,formed a unique cadre education model and accumulated valuable experience.Expounding the achievement of the education of cadres during the period of Yanan,refining and summarizing the characteristics and basic experience of the education of cadres during the period of Yanan.
