About The Gesir Temple In Bahrain Right Banner And Its Functions

This paper firstly expounds the process of geser temple building of the right banner in Bahrain from the beginning to the demolition and reconstruction and gives an overview of the new changes in the temple after the reconstruction.On the basis of this,the paper discusses the multiple influences of the rebuilding of geser temple on the daily life of Bahraini people,as well as the great impact of the local people in promoting the cultural identity of Bahrain.This paper is composed of five parts of introduction,text,conclusion,reference and appendix.The introduction mainly includes the background of topic selection,topic basis,significance of topic selection and research method.The first chapter mainly introduces the process of the temple from the beginning to the demolition.The second chapter states the conditions,causes and processes of rebuilding the temple.The third chapter is based on the investigation of the temple of barlingsre and discusses the two sacrificial rites,the sacrificial rites and the oral history culture of geser which has been circulating in Bahrain for a long time.The fourth chapter is about the function of geser temple and expatiates on its function in regional economic development,the overall cultural development of geser region and the national cultural identity.The conclusion of the paper summarizes the main contents of the thesis and puts forward a series of views on this cultural phenomenon.
