Eye And Mouth Concept Dialect Words Research Of Shanxi Huozhou

This paper takes the two conceptual domain words of eye & mouth in Huozhou dialect as the research object to research deeply and analysis systematically,and then compares it with the environs dialects by field investigation.The eye & mouth conceptual domain words are basic vocabularies and important meaning aggregation types.The eye & mouth conceptual domain words can be divided into four and five small conceptual domains seperately.Based on conceptual domain theory and conceptual elemen ts analysis,the combination and aggregation relationships in structu ral linguistics and the conceptual element analysis method,this paper describes and analyses each conceptual domain words to reveal the generality and specific characteristics of the small domain words from Semantics and Syntax.It also compares the words in Huozhou with in surrounding dialects to find the transitional characteristics of Huozhou dialect.On the whole,this article makes some thoughts on the lexical and semantic evolution of the eyes and mouth words,and analyzes the similarities with the surrounding dialects by GIS(Geographic Informatio n System),trying to formulate the path of regional language transmissio n,then to further analyzes the words affect relationship between Huozhou dialect and the surrounding dialects.From the global aspect,it gives some thoughts made on the lexical and semantic evolution of the eye & mouth words.Huozhou dialect is located on the boundary area between the Central Mandarin dialect and the Jin dialect,so this article analyzes the differences of the member words in it and in the surrounding dialects and using the similarities by GIS(Geographic Information System),then tries to construct the transmissio n path of languages in the region to further analyzes the relationship with the surrounding dialects.This article is divided into nine chapters.Chapter I is introduction and contains three aspects:(1)The geographical survey and historical evolution of Huozhou;internal division,phonetic system and research status of Huozhou dialect;(2)Demonstratio n on previous research results from three aspects of nouns,verbs,and adjectives collated with two above of eye & mouth in Chinese;(3)The purpose and significance of this paper and the theoretical basis and methods of the research.Chapter II describes the eye nouns in Huozhou dialect.It describ es and analyzes the the syntax and semantics of the basic and other organ nouns of eye,and compares with the surrounding five counties and cities to reveal its characteristics,such as "eye slope" and "eye kernel" is Huozhou characteristic dialect words.Chapter ? is the analysis of mouth nouns in Huozhou dialect.There are nine nouns for the mouth itself organ noun "mouth" and other mouth organ nouns.The similarities and differences with the environs dialects are transitional characteristics.Chapter ? is the research on eye verbs in Huozhou dialect.The eye verbs are divided into two small domains of general movements and visual movements.The general movement small domains are general movement verbs.There are 9 members,which are the eyelids basic verbs and eyeballs basic verbs.The eye visual verbs have 12 members,which are divided into generally look,far look,briefly look and blame look.This paper analyzes the syntactic,sentence pattern and conceptual elements of each member,and concludes that the “eye” is prototype member.Then it compares “zhao ” as an example with the dialects in 29 environs counties to show the transitional features of Huozhou dialect.Chapter V is the research on mouth verbs in Huozhou dialect which are divided into three small domains as general verbs,eating verbs and speech verbs.Each small domain is also divided into differen t subcategories,among which the speech verbs are abundant and can be divided into 9 subcategories as general,chat,bragging,repetitio n,deception,reproach,quarrel,shout,question and answer.Comparing with the dialects in 33 environs counties,the repetition,reproach,quarrel words of “xu” “ka” “bing” shows local characteristics.Chapter VI and VII are the research on nouns and verbs and their adjectives and adverbs modifiers of eye and mouth words.Because of the large content and unique characteristics,it is divided into two chapters for in-depth discussion.Chapter is the research on adjectives collocation with mouth words.This chapter describes adjectives collocation with mouth organ nouns,eating verbs and speech verbs,analyzes the syntax,semantic and symmetry of them,and compares the similarities and differences with the environs dialects to concludes the typical member are "da" and "bo".Chapter VIII contains the comparison on eye & mouth words in Huozhou dialect.It compares the nouns,verbs and modifiers of the two.Chapter IX is a few thougts on the characteristics of eyes and mouth words in Huozhou dialect.It explores the lexical patterns and semantic evolution types of the eyes and mouth words,and uses GIS to analyze the similarity of dialect words in the transition area: Hongdong dialect > Huozhou dialect > Guxian dialect > Fenxi dialect > Lingshi dialect > Qinyuan dialect.Then using the walking cost calculation in GIS,it proves that there are three asynchronous paths in the transition area which all spreads from the emerging southern dialects with high similarity to the ancient dialects with small similarity,and the propagation intensity of the three paths is: Hongdong ? Huozhou ? Fenxi > Hongdong ? Huozhou ? Lingshi > Hongdong ? Guxian ? Qinyuan.
