Research Of Mongolian Prose In The "Seventeen Years"

“Seventeen Years” Mongolian prose is an important part of “Seventeen Years” Mongolian literature.In general,“Seventeen Years” Mongolian prose has been in accord with the mainstream literature in ideology while reflecting certain national and regional characteristics in the theme selection and artistic mode.On the basis of systemically sorting out the creation of “Seventeen Years” Mongolian prose,this paper gives a holistic view of the generation and development of “Seventeen Years” Mongolian prose from the perspectives of trend change,theme selection,time representation and artistic mode.“Seventeen Years” Mongolian prose can be roughly divided into two periods of germination(1949-1953)and development(1954-1966).From the perspectives of creative practice,the participation of amateur writers and the formation of professional writers play a decisive role in the development of Mongolian prose;In terms of genre selection and theme expression,the prose creation in this stage includes writings not only about praising the new regime,leaders and political parties,but also about the new change of grassland and herdsmen.In addition,some texts involve themes such as memories of the war years and criticism of imperialism;In terms of time style and artistic mode,“Seventeen Years” Mongolian prose shows the characteristics of optimism,brightness and liveliness,but still with the tendency of obvious political propaganda intention,single style,stereotyped expression and characterization;From the perspective of sociology and literary history,the value of “Seventeen Years” Mongolian prose lies in that it embodies the people's ideology and aesthetic ideal at the beginning of the People's Republic of China,and inherits and develops the excellent tradition and artistic technique of Mongolian literature to some extent.The generation and development of “Seventeen Years” Mongolian prose is closely related to the specific context of the time.In the period of “Seventeen Years”,based on the legitimacy of the political power and need of the cultural leadership,the state ideology intervened the literary activities comprehensively emphasizing the class and political nature,political service and ideological attributes of literature.As a composition of Chinese literature,“Seventeen Years” Mongolian prose is also endowed with an important political mission.Therefore,the problems such as the politicization and stereotype of Mongolian prose in this period should be understood,and the complex links between literature,times and politics should be revealed to present more systematically the development and features of “Seventeen Years” Mongolian prose.
