New media art has a "modern" temperament since its birth.Among them,"radicalism" is not only an important embodiment of this spirit,but also a decisive factor.The so-called "radicalism" has two meanings: one is ahead,the other is negative.New media art,on the one hand,inherits the radical genes of modern art,especially avant-garde art which dares to deny,on the other hand,it is presented in the context of social changes of technological progress and social evolution.The three-dimensional structure of radicalism of new media art is constructed by the combination of technological progress,linguistic representation radicalism and cultural radicalism.As a radical force of art evolution,media technology has melted the linguistic representation and cultural connotation of the radical nature of new media art.Driven by the technological progress of modernity,new media art has inherited the radical creation methods of avant-garde art and traditional media art in its own language representation,such as collage,juxtaposition,divert,etc.The work has shaped a new form of artistic language.This language is based on the underlying logic of "visual atomism",giving artists "interface interaction" " art deviance" " deep montage" "visual stacking" and a series of creative technique and the realization path of artistic effect.On this basis,the relationship between aesthetic subject and aesthetic object turns from "subject-object" to the construction of "relational aesthetics".In the context of relational aesthetics,beauty is neither subjective nor objective,but always presents and changes in the construction of relationships.In this regard,the value orientation of artistic creation changed from "content is king" to "context is king",and then shaped a series of new aesthetic cultural forms such as "video poetics" and "immersive aesthetics".These culture forms not only overturned the traditional aesthetic culture,but also shaped new media cultures with radical critical positions such as "expression culture of self-reference","digital heterotopia","dematerialization and postmodern loftiness".
