The Study Of Lenin’s View Of Religion

In the process of the Russian socialist revolution and construction,Lenin combined the marxist religious view with the era characteristics,the realistic national conditions,the revolutionary practice and the historical tradition in Russia,and systematically put forward the basic principles,guidelines and policies of dealing with religious issues by working class party,thus,which enriched and developed marxist religious view greatly.The birth of Lenin’s religious view established the basic system of religious theory and policy of the Soviet Union,also profoundly affected the recognition and treatment of religion and religious problems in other socialist countries,including China,which had some successful experience,also some painful lessons.After the collapse of the Soviet Union and the upheavals of eastern Europe,the great controversy over Lenin’s religious views persisted.In the current complex situation at home and abroad,A thorough study of Lenin’s religious views is to learn wisdom from history radically,uphold and develop the marxist religious view more scientifically,and to promote the religious theory and religious work of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Lenin’s religious view is the product of the imperialist and proletarian revolutionary era,which makes Marx’s religious view Russianized,practiced,systematized and popularized,and which embodies Russian characteristics and has the theoretical quality of Marx’s religious view.It is mainly composed of two parts: “the basic theory” and “the applied theory”.The former includes the essence,values and historical views of religion;based on its theoretical subject(“socialism and religion” or “religious problems of the socialist period”),the latter can be divided into two parts: “Lenin’s theory of relationship between politics and religion ” and “Lenin’s theory of religious ideology ”.Lenin’s theory of relationship between politics and religion is related to the processing of multiple relationships,such as “religion and regime”,“religion and government”,“religious and political”,aiming to solving the problems caused by religion as a “social entity”.It not only to achieve the liberation of religion and political liberation,but also to achieve the liberation of people in the pursuit of value.Lenin’s theory of religious ideology aims at solving the problems caused by religion as a “ideology”,which is essentially related to “the theory of socialist ideology ” and is subordinated to the establishment,consolidation and construction of socialist ideology.Lenin’s religious view is not only a religious concept of historical materialism,but also a religious view of scientific socialism.Only when we grasp its philosophical and social attributes,can we deeply touch the spiritual essence of it.Based on the above considerations,the research content and the logical structure of this thesis are arranged as follow.First of all,the forming conditions,the development stages,the core concepts,the logic frame and the basic theory of Lenin’s religious view are analyzed as a whole.Secondly,in the part of Lenin’s theory of the relationship between politics and religion,at first,the theoretical and historical points are sorted out;then,its theoretical framework,namely,the main principles and viewpoints on the relationship between religion,regime,government and political parties is elaborated;at last,its theoretical characteristics and realistic demands are revealed.Thirdly,in the part Lenin’s theory of religious ideology,at first,its logic approach is revealed from the natural relationship between the theory of religious ideology and the theory of socialist ideology;then,the content system of this theory is expounded from the perspective of belief,politics,world view and morality;at last,its theoretical innovation is analyzed from the problem dimensions,the theoretical route,the philosophical basis,and the policy practice,and its practical significance is analyzed from destroying the religion ideology predominance,promoting the establishment and consolidation of socialist ideology and promoting the socialist revolution and construction,etc.The last chapter of the main body of the thesis,is a study of the theoretical character,the historical position and the practical significance of Lenin’s religious view on the whole.
