"Wu Yao" is a kind of reference to the pursuit of change in the creation activities in the Ming Dynasty literature classics,and the concept of "Wu Yao" outlines the obsession of the people who pursue fashion,and even psychedelic.This kind of creation state,which is more and more bizarre for change,deserves special attention in the process of examining ancient Chinese creation activities."Wu Yao" is a reference to the name of the "demon" by the Ming people.It literally means strange,unusual and beautiful items.In fact,in the Wu Xing Zhi of the Han Dynasty,there is a saying of "Fu Yao".This is a book that records the theory of disasters.For specific political purposes,clothing,horses,toys,homes,etc.are linked to the destiny of the country.The "Wu Yao" formulation has followed this,and it has changed in the new context and has rich connotations.From a historical point of view,"Wu Yao " is not a certain thing or a certain kind of thing,but an evaluation concept about things.Expressing the evaluation standards,positions,and attitudes of Confucian scholars in the ritual culture.The reason why the title of "demon" is related to the role of thing in the society,the object is the epitome of social change,and the word "demon" expresses the complex emotion of the Confucian elements on social change.Especially since the middle and late Ming Dynasty,the extravagant customs have swept across the country.The novels,local chronicles and literary works depict the development of the two capitals,the economic development of Jiang Nan,and the rise of material culture.The craftsmen have been able to show their skills,and the exquisitely crafted costumes have increased in daily use.The literati have spent a lot of money on the active cultural market,pursuing the exotic costumes and leading the social customs.The merchants have a wealth of wealth,and use the high-level clothing to transform the social identity,and the people will not hesitate to use it.Borrow and enjoy luxury and exotic things.From the analysis of the types of "Wu Yao" such as " Su Yi","Su Yang" and the person with the object,the title of the "demon" is passed on to the people in the tide of commodity economy and material culture.The contradiction of sensory enjoyment: On the one hand,human nature makes them more obsessed with beautiful and exquisite things;on the other hand,the teaching of traditional morality makes them full of uneasiness about novelty.
