Lucian Freud is one of the most creative realist artists of the last century.Although formally, his works belong to the traditional reproducible art,he always tried to subvert the threshold of the realistic concepts in people's habitual thinking, and introduced an unrealistic artistic perspective, which really existed, although in an implicit way.In his paintings, which are full of independence and spontaneity, his unreality and reality together constitute a paradoxical existence. It can be said that this model exists in all aspects of Freudian art practice. It should be pointed out that Freud's description of the visible world is not simply to describe the behavior itself, nor to simply imitate the exterior of the object.Rather, while studying the visible world, his works explicitly express many non-realistic factors, including his existing feelings, intuitive experience, etc. To a certain extent, this makes his work a medium for communicating with the viewer and expressing some of his deep inner elements. In a certain sense,Freud's shocking images, which on the border of the normality, incorporate seemingly invisible and unrealistic factors into the artist's natural realism pictures.Of course, undeniably,in his art,the artist's original inner non-realistic elements, and the realistic depiction in his works, are connected by the artist's marvelous artistic skills, which give rise to novel and unique artistic effects. Therefore, the core of this thesis is not to fully explore the reality of Freud art,but to focus on the different types of complex and unrealistic factors that its realistic art operation relies on.It can be said that the latter shows the dimension and breadth of its expansion in realism art,and also marks a possible new direction for such art.
