This paper researched on a number of formal and informal communication and activities between the writers from Mongolia and Shilingol,Inner Mongolia,and aimed to study the cultural interactions between the two countries.For achieving the research objective,this study applied various kinds of effective methods,such as fieldwork,questionnaires,and textual and statistical analyses.The thesis is made of four parts,which are introduction,main body(1-3 chapters),conclusion and appendix.The introduction presents the reasons for selecting this topic,research significance,literature review,purpose of research and research methodologies.The main body is composed of three chapters.The first chapter investigated the formal literary exchange between the writers from Shilingol,Inner Mongolia and Mongolia from the studies of poetry contests,creative writing meetings and publication ceremonies.The second chapter explored the informal literary exchange between the writers from Mongolia and Shilingol,Inner Mongolia,from the studies on the situations of republication of literary transliteration,the activities of exchanges of poems,preface and books,holding series of lectures,and conducting many different kinds of interviews.The third chapter undertook a specialized study on the most representative writers who made positive influences on the literary exchange between the two countries.From the above aspects of research,this paper pointed out that the literary exchange between Mongolia and China,whcih is represented by the Shilingol writers,has become more and more frequent,and both countries are actively launching various of exchange activities.However,the power of public propaganda still needs to be enhanced,and more effective methods are necessary to better promote the literary exchange between the two countries.The appendix listed out the references,interviewing materials and tables.
