In the 19th century,Buddhism occupied a dominant position in Mongolia, not only in ideology but also in the whole life, such as Yinzhanaxi, who could not and would not be allowed to betray religion.Through illustrating the links between Buddhist culture,Yinzhanaxi's philosophical ideology and his literary works,Study on the Influence of Buddhist Culture in Yinzhanaxi's Literary Works concludes Yinzhanaxi's philosophcal aesthetics and factors of Buddhist culture in his works not only to reveal Yinzhanaxi's internal and external literary beauty but to point out his historical and aesthetic values. This thesis is composed of introduction, four chapters and conclusion. The introduction part summarizes the previous study of Yinzhanaxi from 1909 to now.All study only focuses on the aspects of Mongolian traditional culture and its relationship with Han Confucious culture in Yinzhanaxi's works, ignoring the profound influence of Buddhist culture on him, which results in one-sided or absolute tendency of research in this field. This parts tells the significance of Buddhist cultural study of Yinzhanaxi,as well as the reasons of selecting this topic and research methods, etc. The first chapter studies the philosophical thought and its origin of Yinzhanaxishi. In terms of the preface, general list and return writings of Qing Shi Yan Yi,by studying his understanding of Buddhism,Buddhism,Buddhist texts,Buddhists and Buddhist schools,as well as the Buddhist concept of "You","Wu","Xing Kong",and by comparing with the understandings on Buddhism of Buddhist masters such as Longhu Yuecheng,Zongkaba,Danda, this part points out the Buddhist theory as Yinzhanaxi's philosophical foundation instead of Confucius doctrine. He did not criticize Buddhism, but those wearing robes with a sword or those pretending as a Buddhist with little Knowledge, viewing them as the thieves of Buddhism. All these ideas by Yin zhanashi come from the theory of Buddhism. The second chapter explores the influence of Buddhist culture on Yinzhanashi's literary artistry.First comes the subject, meaning, characteristics of creation and aesthetic characteristics, structure of Yi Ceng Lou Qi Hong Ting and its links to Hong lou Meng; The second section is mainly about Yinzhanashi's aesthetic thoughts and poetic theory. The third section mainly discusses the characters of Qing Shi Yan Yi.Therefore,a conclusion is made that the Buddhist theory is embodied in Yinzhanashi's literary works, being moderate, reasonable, disciplinary on a balance of Yin and Yang Theory.Genghis khan's "great Mongol" is the result of the "Yin and Yang balance".Genghis khan and Muhuali are"Yin and Yang balance keepers".Other "khans" who fought against Genghis khan in the Mongolian plateau were defeated by an imbalance of Yin and Yang. This is shown in Qing Shi Yan Yi.The third chapter explores the influence of Buddhist culture on the content and thought of Yinzhanashi's works. In content aspects,it mainly expounds the inheritance of the traditional Buddhist culture in the 17th and 18th century and reflection of Buddhist theory in Qing Shi Yan Yi as well as the folk customs of Buddhism,Buddhist term and Zen in Yi Ceng Lou Qi Hong Ting.In ideology aspect,it concludes the Buddhism-related thinking of equality of men and women, forgiveness of governing and kindness to the poor, love of the talented shown in Yinzhanaxi's works. In the fourth chapter, the author tells both the positive and negative values of the Buddhist culture which influences Yinzhanaxishi's works.Compared with the abstract theory of Buddhist books, the vivid expression of Buddhist thoughts through Literary works could be more quickly and easily accepted by readers, nourishing reader's mind and heart. The theory of "Xing Kong" in Buddhism provides the poetic writing approach called "with and without me",highlighting the positive value of the Buddhist culture. The final chapter makes a theoretical conclusion on the influence of Buddhist culture in Yinzhanashi's works and points out some academic questions that should be paid attention to in the future.
