Money As Medium,the Algorithm Of Reality And The Potentialities Of Creating

This dissertation attempts to implement curatorial writing as a method,from the perspective of "money" as a medium,using theoretical resources such as art criticism,political economics,media studies,and anthropology,to analyze how humans are affected and shaped by quantitative thoughts,and how art has become an unquantifiable force.It is focused on responding to the questions of "abstract universality" and "concrete universality" in Alain Badiou's "Fifteen theses on contemporary art “.Beginning in the second chapter,the author starts out by addressing the lack of discourse regarding currency in mainstream economics,gradually exploring the status of money as an elusive article.The third chapter analyzes the basic forms of value exchange in "Das Kapital" and finds the problems in the "timeliness of logical forms" and the "impossibility of equivalent exchanges",by pointing out that money is made on this basis.The author continues by stating the qualitative change of "de-quality" is related to the nature of mathematics,and briefly outlines the development of "calculation".The fourth chapter begins with the false origins of "barters",further examining the history of money and explores how it shapes our world and world view.In the fifth chapter,we analyze the current "algorithm" that governs reality and the subject,and carries out a more in-depth dismantling of reality.The sixth chapter takes the computational law of currency as the "parallel postulate" of the present world,launching subversive deduction,and excavating the possibility of the future.The seventh chapter analyzes that the state of art as an incalculable thing that is unfolding in time and facing the current reality,discussing the individual and collective working possibilities of the artist.The full text describes the monetary system and the computational system behind it.Through media analysis,historical research,ontological speculation,and science fiction imagination,it leads to the derivation of Hetero-Knowledge,and proposes different possible currencies of the future,regarding art as uncalculable dialectic.It is the significance of this dissertation to understand,pry and invert the currency as a fulcrum of the system and explore the possibility of creating another life.The appendix is a reportage on one related field research and project which to place in Tibet.
