A Comparison Of The Effect On The Anger Value Of Fibromyalgia Patients By Treating With Yuan-Luo Acupuncture Points

Fibromyalgia syndrome is a common disease in the past deades,and its pathogenesis is still unclear.It is generally classified as psychosomatic disease,which is more common in women than men.It is mainly manifested by the patient's subjective perception of chronic pain syndrome in multiple parts of the body also other life and emotional distress,such as non-restorative sleep,depression,anxiety,anger,etc.Compared with other general pain syndrome,the characteristic of fibromyalgia syndrome is that the patient's pain is a self conscious symptom,which is generally not known by objective physical examination.The application of acupuncture on fibromyalgia syndrome is becoming more and more popular in clinical practice.Studies have found that different acupuncture and massage methods have significant contributiin in the clinical manifestations of patients with fibromyalgia syndrome.Based on the above understanding of fibromyalgia syndrome,this study focus on the differences of anger value in two divided groups,which influences by neddeling Yuan-Luo acupuncture points and needeling pain points.Method:This article reviews the clinical manifestations and related research of fibromyalgia syndrome,as well as pain and emotional syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine theory,also the recent studies on fibromyalgia syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine.As research method it uses needeling at Yuan-Luo acupuncture points and needeling at pain points for comparison.60 patients divided into two groups.The experimental group has 30 people and is treated by the Yuan-Luo points with acupuncture,points are:LIV3,GB40,HR7,SI4,SP3,ST42,LU9,LI4,KI3,UB64.The control group also has 30 people and is treated by the needling the tender points:Occiput,Trapezius,Supraspinatus,Gluteal,Low cervical,Second rib,Lateral epicondyle,Greater trochanter,Knee.Result:State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory II(STAXI 2)is given to the patients before and after the treatment.The value Trait Anger(T_ANG)without anger stimulation and the value Anger Expression-Out,Anger Expression-In,Anger Control-Out,Anger Control-In(AX_O,AX_I,AC_O,AC_I)with anger stimulation are mainly evaluated.The results show without anger stimulation,the Angry Temperament(T_ANG/T)and Anger Reaction(T_ANG/R)are both significantly decreased when needling Yuan-Luo points,means needling Yuan-Luo points can significantly improve the daily emotional condition.However,when there is anger stimulation,the experimental group has siginificant chi-stagnation decreases(AX_I)compare to the control group.Anger Control-Out(AC-O),Anger Control-In(AC-I)were also siginificantly increased when needling Yuan-Luo points,means eedling Yuan-Luo points can significantly iimprove the performance when dealing with anger emotion.Conclution:Needling Yuan-Luo points can decrease the Anger and Chi-Stagnation value efficiently,also help the patients when dealing with anger emotion and stimulation.
