Purpose:With bad prognosis and low degree of differentiation,colorectal cancer is the most common malignant tumor in digestive system.Professor Xu Li has enriched clinical medication experiences in treating colorectal cancer.By analyzing prescriptions and medication rules,professor proposed the 3 stages 6 differentiations method applying through the whole process of treating based on these clinical of professor Xu Li and further explore this method by summarizing and statistically analyzing the drug medication experience of colorectal cancer.Thus offering theoretical support and medication instruction for treating colorectal cancer using traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:After identified the research objectives,search for related literature in recent 10 years from CNKI and access to relevant books to arrange,classify and summarize the clinical symptom,tongue and pulse condition,diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of patients.Regarding these major clinical manifestations as the basic manifestations of patients with colorectal cancer.Make detailed record of the data of symptom and signs,auxiliary examination results and life quality indexes of patients,then put the arranged and processed data in the colorectal cancer data table in the computer and manage all the data with the software Excel.All the data can only be collected after being checked for many times and must guarantee its authenticity to ensure the reliability.Statistical software:SPSS 17.0,Clinical categorical data analysis:we use Fisher's Exact Test.P>0.05 indicates no clinical difference,P<0.05 indicates statistical differences and P<0.01 indicates significant statistical differences.Exploring the theory system of 3 stages 6 differentiations method based on the fact and analyzing the remission,relapse and metastasis of the disease through collecting,sorting out and analyzing the above data.Results:1:There are 64 kinds of drugs that are commonly used in the treatment under the instruction of the 3 stages and 6 differentiations method.And the top ten drugs in the list include Rhizoma Pinellinae Praeparata,Tuckahoe,Atractylodes,Fritillary,pericarpium citri reticulatae,grifola,Astragalus membranaceus,Olddenlandia diffusa,raw coix,Radix pseudostellariae;Wenping herbs and ganku herbs are more used under si qi wu wei category.Used herbs mainly works on spleen and sromach meridian.2:After treatment,the clinical symptoms of patients are improved,especially the four symptoms except difficult defecation and hemafecia are significantly improved;The observed indexes are also improved,the serum CEA and CA199 level decreased after treatment(P<0.05);Patients also get much better quality of life after treatment.During the observation period,only 2 cases of local relapse and 1 case of distant metastasis.Conclusion:The thought of professor Xu Li has considerable depth of theoretical and clinical value.By fully studying the pathogenesis and the future research trend of colorectal cancer,professor Xu Li,using his enriched knowledge,proposes the 3 stages and 6 differentiations method in treating colorectal cancer.And the significant curative effect based on this method in treating colorectal cancer indicates that it can provide proper instruction for clinical medication and is able to significantly alleviate the patients' pain and suffering by relieving the symptoms,and thus improving their live quality.Also by treating the underlying causes of the disease,regulating the balance of Yin-Yang in human body,strengthening the immune system,adjusting the balance of internal and external environments of people,this method can not only treat the disease but also prevent relapse and metastasis.Thus providing diagnosis and treatment standard for colorectal cancer and exerting extensive influence in clinical and academic field.
