Regional innovation and competition show dynamic changing characteristics with the process of globalization.As an innovative actor in the process of innovation,regional innovation is becoming a key factor and an important driving force to promote regional innovation and coordinate regional overall planning in the process of regional innovation.As the agglomeration of innovation actors,the spatial characteristics of agglomeration and diffusion of innovation actors within metropolitan area have influenced the innovation ability and efficiency of metropolitan area.At present,most of the research on innovation actor is to measure the innovation ability of different actors or the distribution of single innovation actor in provincial and municipal space.There is no systematic evaluation and Analysis on the spatial agglomeration of innovation actor from the perspective of metropolitan area.The formulation of government policies lacks strong research support.It is difficult to coordinate and layout the macro-control of regional innovation elements in the layout of innovation actors,resulting in vicious competition among regions or unsubstantiated planning layout.Especially in the field of urban planning,because of the vagueness of the concept of innovation actor and the lack of evaluation methods such as spatial distribution and spatial correlation of innovation actor,the distribution of innovation actor in regional planning appears arbitrary.The phenomenon that innovation actor coordinates to promote innovation efficiency in space has not been effectively realized,and many innovation resources have been wasted in some regions.In view of the fuzziness and diversity of the current concept of innovation actor and its related research,this paper takes the spatial distribution characteristics of innovation actor as the core,takes metropolitan area as the research perspective,and explores the connotation,evaluation methods and empirical research of innovation actor.The purpose is to establish a specific research framework for the spatial distribution evaluation of innovation actor in metropolitan area.In terms of research methods,this paper combines multi-disciplinary,multi-actor and multi-direction evaluation system,uses the concept of spatial agglomeration degree,combines the urban geography research methods such as geographical concentration degree,urban primacy degree,POI interest point distribution and principal component analysis to summarize and summarize the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of innovative actors in different types of metropolitan areas in China.Firstly,starting from the concept of innovation actor,this paper combs the main members of innovation actor,and defines the connotation of innovation actor according to its functional attributes.Secondly,by reviewing the research on the spatial distribution,innovation space and innovation measurement of innovation actors,the main research direction of this paper is to explain whether the innovation actors within and outside the metropolitan circle have different spatial distribution characteristics.In addition,through the difference of the spatial distribution characteristics of innovators in different types of metropolitan areas,the measurement methods of spatial agglomeration and the correlation between spatial agglomeration and innovation benefits,and fully combining the theoretical research results,this paper re-examines what factors influence the formation of the spatial distribution characteristics of innovators in metropolitan areas,and how to formulate relevant policies with these influences.In order to better guide the spatial distribution of innovative actors in the practical level of urban and rural planning.In the main content of the paper,starting from three types of actors,the current development situation and problems of innovation actors in China are analyzed through statistical data.At the same time,the characteristics of spatial distribution of innovation actors in typical metropolitan areas abroad are summarized.It is concluded that more mature innovation subjects in metropolitan areas have higher spatial agglomeration,such as higher degree of agglomeration of innovation actors in core cities and agglomeration of innovation actors.There is a certain periodicity in the process,and the spatial agglomeration effect of innovation actors in different development types of metropolitan area is different.Based on the analysis of the relationship between innovation input and output in metropolitan area,this paper divides the development types of 20 typical metropolitan areas into four categories based on the evaluation criteria of innovation ability,and establishes a framework for the classification of innovation actors in metropolitan area.Based on the number of innovative actors,this paper demonstrates the representation characteristics of spatial distribution of innovative actors in different types of metropolitan areas.By using the geographic agglomeration measure method of location Gini coefficient,the agglomeration data of innovators in metropolitan area are calculated.The overlapping analysis of data and spatial illustrations verifies that different types of innovators have common and different distribution characteristics in metropolitan area.This paper further chooses the mature metropolitan area of Yangtze River Delta as the object of empirical research.Through the data of representative high-tech enterprises and patents in the metropolitan area of Yangtze River Delta,we use the methods of geographic concentration and POI nuclear density to prove the relationship between innovation gap and spatial difference,that is,the metropolitan areas in the mature metropolitan area have sustained attraction to the innovators,and the innovators are the main ones.The spatial distribution structure is characterized by spatial agglomeration,which is changing to a multi-center system.In addition to the characteristics of spatial agglomeration,this paper combines the spatial distribution of innovation actors with innovation benefits,demonstrates that the spatial agglomeration of innovation actors promotes innovation output,different roles of different innovation actors on innovation output,and high-innovation cities have more advantages in innovation agglomeration.Based on the analysis of characteristics,this paper summarizes the space and factors that attract the agglomeration of innovators and puts forward four strategic suggestions for optimizing and guiding the spatial layout of innovators based on attractiveness and influencing factors.The main innovative points of this paper mainly include three aspects.The three-level spatial distribution law of innovative actors in metropolitan area,the micro-spatial correlation law between innovative actors and innovative benefits in metropolitan area and the specific strategies of optimizing the spatial distribution of innovative actors in urban and rural planning.Finally,the paper explains the shortcomings of the research and the problems to be solved in terms of research methods and data and makes further prospects for future research.
