Research On The Origin And Activation Of Color Prototype In Fenghuang County

Regional color prototype is one of the collective subconscious of a specific ethnic group.It starts with biological color instinct and forms the color concept and aesthetics ideology by social and cultural historical process.It is both explicit and invisible,material and spiritual,collective and individual.As a key element of visual perception,color plays an important role in the process of human development,such as feature recognition,information communication,symbolic association,subjective expression and so on.Color is not only the value of chroma,but also the color of ideas.In the sense of color psychology,it is the code of ethnic energy.In all kinds of natural or man-made tests that each nation has experienced,it is the collective subconscious that unites the ethnic groups together.So the ethnic groups can continue to this day by overcoming many difficulties.Color information of collective subconscious is ubiquitous in the construction of regional material,and at the same time,it constructs a spiritual garden of Eden in another invisible world of ethnic groups.The induction and research of regional color prototype is not only to establish the color characteristics different from other places in physical vision,but also to tell the descendants of ancient ethnic groups with color: Who am I? Where am I from? Where can I settle down?This paper takes the color prototype of Fenghuang County as the research object,digging into and sorting out the color prototype of this area by field research,literature search,quantitative analysis of color data,comparative analysis and other methods.Based on the fundamental theory of color,color psychology,color folklore,color geography,urban color design,Miao culture and ot her disciplines,and using the structure and analysis method of NCD color system to record and analyze the soil color,vegetation color,traditional architectural color,dress color,craft and art color,etc,the study concluded with research methods and preliminary results of certain implications.This will provide decision-making reference and effective way for the color protection of the ancient Fenghuang city and the overall color planning of Fenghuang County.The paper is divided into three parts:The first part focuses on research background and theoretical research,covering Chapter I and Chapter II.The first chapter,Chapter I,is the back-ground study of the subject,stating the background and significance of the subject study,clarifying the core concepts and scope of the study,elaborating the technical route and establishing the research framework.The second chapter is the basic theoretical research of the subject,which gives an understanding overview of the main theories involved in this paper.Among them,the four color systems were compared horizontally to form an independent conclusion.Color folklore and Color geography have great inspiration for the classification of Color samples in this paper;urban Color landscape is a direct reference for the activation of urban and architectural Colors;Chinese traditional Color concept,in a sense,is the collective subconsciousness of Chinese Colors and the cultural background of the Color prototype of Fenghuang County,which are interwoven.The second part-object analysis,is comprised of Chapter III and Chapter IV.Chapter ? expounds the forming factors of the color prototype in Fenghuang County.In this part,the relevant historical records and detailed data are obtained from Fenghuang historical documents,literary documents,Miao works and government documentby using the method of literature collection;a large number of color samples are collected from soil,plant,stone and wood in this area by using field investigation method.Through NCD monochrome analysis method,the regional color characteristics of each natural element are obtained,which provides evidence for the color prototype.Color impression analysis method is used to explore the corresponding relationship between color meaning and semantics of cultural relics retained in Chu culture.The above research provides a reliable theoretical explanation for the color prototype of Fenghuang County.Chapter ? summarizes the color prototype of Fenghuang County by empirical analysis.The large number of first-hand color samples are analysed using data quantification,their color ratio color correlation,tone relationship,bottom relationship,etc.illustrated with graphs,providing strong evidence for the argument.In this chapter,the research conclusion about the color of sacrificial dress reveals the corresponding relationship between color meaning and cultural meaning,which has been approved by Miao scholars.This part of the results from the survey of contemporary residents' color preferences in Fenghuang County becomes the date of the activation of color prototype.The third part-the applied research,involves the fifth chapter and the sixth chapter.The fifth chapter is the viewpoint and technical thinking of color prototype activation,which lays a theoretical foundation for the application of color prototype activation.Also,foreign cases are referred to,providing historical experience for practical operation.The sixth chapter is the activation and application of the previous research results in the design.This chapter focuses on discussing the color status of the ancient city of Fenghuang,and puts forward suggestions for protection.At the same time,the reference chromatogram of Fenghuang prototype is proposed to provide direct reference for color application in various fields.Finally,the conclusion part summarizes the research conclusions,innovations and shortcomings,and envisages the follow-up research.
