A Study On The Interactive Relationship Between The Development Of New Towns And Housing Security In The Process Of The Rapid Urbanization

In the process of rapid urbanization,China has made remarkable achievements in the construction of new towns and affordable housing in the past 20 years.New towns are the main means and carriers of China's orderly expansion of urbanization.Affordable housing,on the one hand,has solved the housing problem of low-income groups after the market allocation of housing;on the other hand,it has made great contributions to the relocation and resettlement in the process of urbanization.There are many research on new towns and affordable housing in China,which,however,fail to have heavyweight scholars participated in the research,or to study the interdependent relationship between new towns and affordable housing.This paper focuses on the comparative study of the construction of affordable housing in new towns at home and abroad,in order to raise suggestions for the construction of affordable housing in new towns in large cities in China.This paper is mainly divided into seven parts: introduction,overview of new towns and affordable housing,interaction between new town development and housing security,interaction between new town development and housing security in foreign big cities,interaction between new town development and housing security in domestic big cities,connotation expansion and mode innovation of housing security in new towns in domestic big cities under socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,and conclusion.The whole structure is from the starting point of the study,to key concepts and theories,then to the case analysis at home and abroad,and finally prospects.The innovation of this paper lies in the combination of the new town and the affordable housing.There were many previous independent research on the two,but few focus on the relationship between the two,which is a new perspective in the study of the new town and the affordable housing.This paper comprehensively analyzes the dialectical and symbiotic relationship between the two by both theory and demonstration.At the empirical level,this paper selects several typical cases of foreign and domestic big cities while at the theoretical level,it analyzes the mutual promotion between the new town and affordable housing in an all-round way.At the same time,it makes a comprehensive analysis on the connotation expansion and mode innovation of affordable housing in new towns in the new era.It emphasizes that the historical mission and responsibility of the new town and affordable housing is to meet needs on housing of low-income groups and middle-income groups.It analyzes how common property housing solves the problem of small property housing.The paper explains the advantages and trends of common property housing replacingaffordable housing,limited-price commercial housing and public rental housing.It also states the prospect,potential and policy support of market-oriented rental housing.
