Effectiveness is an important indicator for evaluating the capability of weapon.Effectiveness evaluation and optimization are critical in the lifecycle of weapon.Simulation is the main way to evaluate and optimize the weapon effectiveness.This paper focuses on the three problems.They are how to evaluate and optimize weapon effectiveness based on simulation,obtain the results effectively and quickly,and develop the corresponding software.The formulation and process of simulation evaluation of weapon effectiveness are researched for better work.Firstly,the roles of relevant researchers,the effects of evaluation in the lifecycle and the evaluation purposes are discussed.Effectiveness evaluation can be divided into four respects.The research above helps people to understand the intention of simulation evaluation of weapon effectiveness.Secondly,the formulation of simulation evaluation of weapon effectiveness is given.The hierarchical structure and the corresponding formulation of evaluation integration are given.The participatory evaluation pattern and view-based simulation evaluation process of weapon effectiveness are given to standardize the evaluation process.Improved scatee degree method is proposed for the combination evaluation of score value results when the evaluation methods are not unique.The two-stage simulation optimization method based on metamodel is proposed to improve optimization effect of simulation optimization of weapon effectiveness.For maximally reflecting the diversity among schemes,the combination evaluation method result is obtained by weighted mean.The weights are solved when the variance is the maximum.The result of combination evaluation is an indicator for schemes comparison.Then,a two-stage simulation optimization method based on metamodel is proposed.The local optimal points of rough metamodel are searched by multimodal optimization and clustering analysis.The samples of the second stage are taken in local space,and the metamodel based simulation optimization method is applied.The local optimal solutions are taken into the simulation system to get the optimization result.Five sequential LHS methods are proposed to improve the sampling efficiency of simulation evaluation and optimization of weapon effectiveness,including LHS integer times extension method(IELHS),basic general extension method of LHS(BGELHS),greedy algorithm based general extension method of LHS(GGELHS),the fast general extension method of LHS(FGELHS),and LHS se-quential design method based on general sampling.For ELHS problem,it is proved that all the original sampling points can be reserved.Original LHS is converted into matrix form.The new LHS is formed with new and original sampling points.Location relations of original sampling points in new LHS are converted into simple graph,and BGELHS is proposed.Moreover,GGELHS is proposed by adopting the concept of degree to reduce the time-consuming of BGELHS.Besides,FGELHS is proposed by dimension reduction of adjacency matrix and the upper and lower bound analysis of the most reserved original sampling points.Finally,LHS sequential design method based on general sampling is proposed.Five LHS sequential design methods above can improve the utilization of original points and the sampling efficiency.Networked simulation evaluation and optimization platform of weapon effectiveness is designed and implemented to meet the needs of multi-person collaborative evaluation and the development of general tool.The platform includes the proposed methods in this paper.The functions,communication mechanism and database of the platform are designed.Primitive-based extraction models of evaluation index.The dynamic link library-based extended interfaces are designed for evaluation and optimization algorithms.Users can flexibly configure the evaluation indexes and integrated evaluation methods according to the application background.Networked simulation evaluation and optimization platform of weapon effectiveness is implemented.The air defense effectiveness of weapon is evaluated and optimized by the platform.
