GIS-Table-Document Workflow is an important tool to manage the Business Process,which is derived from the integration of the process controls and resources management capabilities of workflow and the spatial data processing,analysis and visualization functionality of GIS.At present,it is widely used in the field which has the needs of "graphic-text Integration".With the acceleration of the global economic integration process,coordination requirements of Cross disciplinary,cross domain,cross-department and increasingly complex geographic collaboration are increasingly required to work closely with people and resources within different systems.Existing GIS-Table-Document workflow systems are often designed to accomplish their own tasks for specific development goals.These systems are different in the process definition,resource management and execution environment and so on.It is difficult for them to share resources to cooperate with each other.Therefore,to overcome the barriers between heterogeneous GIS-Table-Document workflows,to organize and integrate their internal processes and resources,and to provide a solution to cross system integrated transaction process management,is the key problem to be solved.In this paper,the fact is showed that it is not realistic to eliminate the heterogeneity between GIS-Table-Document workflow systems,and the method of shielding heterogeneity can be used to realize the integration of GIS-Table-Document workflows.The primary problem need to be solved is to make processes and resources of the heterogeneous GIS-Table-Document workflows to be presented with different granularity sharing,and then the sharing processes and resources are organized together rationally to form virtual GIS-Table-Document workflow representing the final goal task.This paper analyzes various heterogeneous GIS-Table-Document workflow systems by sorting out the related concepts and features of various GIS-Table-Document workflows,and establishes the theoretical model for integration-oriented GIS-Table-Document workflows,including the conceptual model of GIS-Table-Document workflows integration,the meta model of GIS-Table-Document workflows,reference model and structure of GIS-Table-Document workflow system;In the paper,a unified view framework of GIS-Table-Document workflow view is established,and a view mechanism of multi granularity GIS-Table-Document workflow is proposed.On this basis,the heterogeneous GIS-Table-Document workflow integration method is studied,which provides a solution for cross system geographic collaboration work.The main topics and results of this paper are as follows:(1)The theoretical model for integration-oriented GIS-Table-Document workflowIn this paper,the basic properties,formation mechanism,existing conditions,characteristics and manifestations of heterogeneous GIS-Table-Document workflows are studied by analyzing the basic properties and characteristics of different types of GIS-Table-Document workflows.And the multi-level classification system is established which provides the basis of cross system GIS-Table-Document workflows integration.On this basis,the theoretical model for integration-oriented GIS-Table-Document workflow is establishes,including the conceptual model of GIS-Table-Document workflows integration,the meta model of GIS-Table-Document workflow,reference model and structure of GIS-Table-Document workflow system;Among them,the meta model of GIS-Table-Document workflow is the theoretical basis of the multi granularity view mechanism.Meanwhile,the reference model and structure of GIS-Table-Document workflow systems provide theoretical guidance for the construction of virtual GIS-Table-Document workflow systems.(2)The view mechanism of multi granularity GIS-Table-Document workflowIn this paper,the GIS-Table-Document Workflow View Unified Description Framework(GTDWViewUDF)is designed.Under this framework,the core minimal set is constructed.We explore the mapping rules and mapping methods of four kinds of views including process,organization,data and function.And we also develop the view organization model based on clustering and semantic retrieval method based on ontology to provide soulutions for the sharing and integration of GIS-Table-Document workflow views resources.(3)Construction method of virtual GIS-Table-Document workflowIn this paper,the multi granularity GIS-Table-Document workflow net(GTDWF Net)is designed based on extended Petri nets and UniNet nets theory,and the formal model for expression of virtual GIS-Table-Document workflow after integration is developed.We explore the methods to construct the GIS-Table-Document workflow systems,where and the architecture,the processes,the data,the functions,the permissions,and the interfaces can be customizable and configurable,in order to completely solve the problem of heterogeneous at different levels.(4)Verification prototype system of GIS-Table-Document workflow integrationIn this paper,a verification prototype system of GIS-Table-Document workflows integration is desiged,and the effectiveness and practicability of the model and method proposed in this paper are verified by taking "approval procedures for land use of housing construction investment projects" for example.Experimental results show that the verification prototype system can realize the multiple granularity resources sharing of heterogeneous GIS-Table-Document workflows,is able to achieve the goal of quickly constructing the integrated virtual GIS-Table-Document workflows,and also provide the environment for cross system collaborative work.Through this paper,the heterogeneous characteristics of GIS-Table-Document workflows are analyzed and summed up from different perspectives,and the meta model,reference model and system structure of GIS-Table-Document workflows are constructed,which enrich theory systems and methods of GIS-Table-Document workflows,and provide theoretical support for heterogeneous GIS-Table-Document workflows integration.As a solution of shielding heterogeneity of GIS-Table-Document workflows,the proposed multi-granularity view mechanism provides a solution for multiple granularity sharing of different kinds of resources in GIS systems,further promotes the widespread application of GIS,better meets the practical need of collaborative work of cross domains and cross disciplines,and also provides tools and means to solve complex geographical problems through cross system collaboration.
