| Since the Reform and Opening-up,China’s economic development has achieved remarkable results,Chinese enterprises have also achieved varying degrees of rapid growth.In a very complex,dynamic,conflict and unique external environment,Chinese enterprises have such a remarkable catch-up achievements.Especially in the new century,China’s domestic and international environment has undergone such a series of major changes that local enterprises face more complex and unique development situation.Not only in the transitional economy,but also at the unique situation,Chinese enterprises show great different characteristics of behavior from the Western business and classical management theory.It is an inevitable requirement to explore these characteristics behind the formation and evolution of the law,to find the reason for the development of China’s situation management theory,to Sum up the successful experience of Chinese enterprises,and to guide the urgent need for further management practices.In order to find the nature and source to explore the local corporate strategic behavior of the law,it is necessary to consider these questions on the cognitive level from the management of knowledge,especially the strategic decision-makers.The dominant logic is a good perspective.In this paper,we focus on the question of what is the dominant logic of Chinese equipment manufacturing enterprises in the context of transitional economy through three sub-studies to complete this work.Firstly,we summarize,analysis and interpret the unique situational factors of the dominant logic affecting domestic equipment manufacturing enterprises to answer question of the criteria for the classification of local equipment manufacturers leading core logic generic,so that we further study the local equipment manufacturers Dominant Logic.The connotation and characteristics provide the theoretical basis.Secondly,it is clear that there are several types of dominant logic of Chinese equipment manufacturing enterprises.The concept of each type of dominant logic constitutes the dimension,the connotation,attribute and characteristic of each constituent dimension.Thirdly,we analysis the interaction mechanism between China’s transitional economic situation and the leading logic of equipment manufacturing enterprises,which is the mechanism of influence of the above factors on dominant logic,at the same time,equipment manufacturing as one of the many categories of manufacturing industry and industry,its dominant logic of the common characteristics of other industries,especially the business inspiration in the emerging economy,the new normal background of China’s other areas.The conclusions of the three sub-studies are as follows.First,through the content analysis,we find three structural dimensions of the situational factors influencing the dominant logic of Chinese equipment manufacturing enterprises in the cognitive perspective,which are the institutional identity dimension,the market structure characteristic dimension and the technical characteristic dimension respectively.Among them,the influence of the institutional identity dimension is mainly manifested in four aspects:resource ability support,cognition of business field choice,freedom of strategic action,innovation willingness and innovation regulation.The influence of market structure feature dimension is mainly manifested in three aspects:product characteristics and attributes,entry barriers and user characteristics.The influence of technical feature dimension is manifested in four aspects:technical posterior characteristics,technical complexity,technical availability and technology accumulation.In this paper,according to this feature dimension,the Chinese equipment manufacturing enterprises in the background of transition economy are divided into three types:high system status-high market concentration-high complexity technology enterprises,high system status-low market concentration-high Complex technology companies,as well as low institutional status-low market concentration-the general complexity of technology companies.Second,according to the above types,through the exploratory single case study,the three representative enterprises of the dominant logic of the concept of dimension of induction and analysis.Firstly,the shared cognition map of the top management team of the three enterprises is presented by the cognitive map technology.Secondly,the key elements of the manager’s cognitive map-cognitive focus are summarized by using the ground theory.The cognitive characteristics of cases and cognitive maps,and summarizes and analyzes the logical relations between cognitive focus,and then draws the main connotation and characteristics of each enterprise’s dominant logic.After the rigorous case description and theoretical analysis,it is found that there are three main types of dominant logic of Chinese equipment manufacturing enterprises in the background of transition economy,namely,"Technical Attribution" logic,"Benchmarking Beyond" logic and "Difference Order" logic.Third,through the exploratory case study of three representative enterprises,we analyze how specific factors affect the core management team management cognition,and then summarize the mechanism of its dominant logic.It is found that the dominant logic of Chinese equipment manufacturing enterprises in the context of transition economy is the result of the comprehensive influence and effect of institutional conditions,market concentration and technical complexity.The different types of dominant logic are due to the institutional status of equipment manufacturing enterprises,Market concentration and technical complexity of the different situational characteristics caused.Specifically,①the institutional position of Chinese equipment manufacturing enterprises in the transition economy mainly through the resources and market control/protection of the two aspects of the equipment manufacturing enterprises to play the role of the dominant logic and influence,and the impact of this mechanism mainly through direct impact on the main Logical identity and target cognition,and indirect effects of the core development methods and path to the dominant logic of the role;②transformation of China’s equipment field of strategic management research,and put forward the management inspiration for the equipment manufacturing enterprise managers in the transition economy. |
