Vegetables price affects the "vegetable baskets" and "fund sources" of people. In recent years, the government pays more and more attention to monitoring and controlling vegetable prices. In this study, the author summarized the situation of vegetable market in our country, and analyzed the time series characteristics of vegetable price fluctuations. Then the author analyzed the fluctuation and transmission characteristics of vegetable prices based on complex network. The rule of conduction has been clarified about the vegetable prices fluctuations and the kinds of vegetable which are more important in the vegetable prices fluctuation network are found out.According to the findings, the author gave some advice related to the control of vegetable price control. The main work and contributions of this paper are shown as follows.(1)The vegetable price fluctuations and conduction model is constructed. In this study, the data of vegetable price is taken a coarse graining preprocessing, which is based on the ”3? Principle”.Then the Vegetable price change data is translated into symbol sequence, and a directed-weighted network with the modal transform as the edge and the mode as the node is generated.Next,The author analyzed the vegetable price fluctuation network by considering the factor of time. The price fluctuation network model was applied to the analysis of the Chinese vegetable market. The author found out the main paths of Vegetable prices volatility transmission, discovered the price modes which have an important influence to the vegetable price fluctuation transmission, and summarized the time characteristic of modal transform.(2)The law of fluctuation and transmission about the eight kinds of vegetable prices has been clarified. In this study, the author summarized the planting standard, planting requirements and storage conditions of eight kinds of vegetables including root vegetables, condiments,Chinese cabbage group, cabbage vegetables, leaf vegetables, melon vegetables, fruit vegetables, beans vegetables and so on.Then the author analyze the time series features of eight kinds of vegetables price, and the price fluctuation network of the eight kinds of vegetable is conducted. And the author analyzed the model statistics characteristics, core mode and modal transmission characteristics of price fluctuation network of the eight kinds of vegetables by considering the factor of time. Finally, the author find the main path of the vegetable price fluctuation transmission is different and which is directly related to the planting condition, consumption habit, storage and transportation conditions and so on.(3)Regression relationship network of multiline varieties vegetables is constructed. The author collected the residents regular consumption data of 30 kinds of vegetables.Granger causality test is introduced in this paper.A directed-unweight Granger causality network of multiline varieties vegetables is conducted. The author found that different vegetables have different influences in the network. The tomato, cowpea, cabbage, lettuce, and bean have bigger influences. However, the green Chinese onion, ginger and yam are relatively independent. The author also found that there are three groups in the network of multiline varieties vegetables, and different vegetables also have different transmissibility, and the tomato, cabbage,Bai luobo have stronger transmissibility than other vegetables. Finally, based on the analysis mentioned above,we proposed some policy suggestions about the monitoring and controlling of vegetable prices, such as training professional vegetable grower, detailed monitoring and controlling vegetable market, paying more attention to the price of tomatoes, cowpea, cabbage, lettuce, beans.
