Laser system plays a paramount role in the field of high energy density science(HEDS)and its application in the inertial confinement fusion(ICF)has been a promising research area over the world in the last 30 years.As a large and complex science project,the construction of laser driver needs advanced technology,large scale,interdisciplinary approaches and a long development cycle.Especially,according to the features of multi-function,multi-parameter test and control,large-range high-precision adjustment,high reliability and high maintenance,the part of pre-amplification system is considered to be a arduous and complicated project.Based on the task requirements of current pre-amplifier system,the primary focus of this thesis is to give a set of practical technology,optimization method and the technical management of the multi-beam system.The aim is also to provide the reference on technical and management to task-decision system.Firstly through the investigations of ICF laser drivers in the world,analysis on pre-amplifier system is stated,including task boundary,system function,technical index,typical technical beam and their respective technical characteristics.Under the background of multi-beam system,the typical technical scheme and key links of the research on pre-amplifier system are also discussed.Then in case of multi-beam system,the core points are studied,which contains stability,reliability and predictability,low sensitivity design and consistency.By the theories of laser technology,reliability and statistic,the stability and reliability of different schemes are analyzed and the relevant experimental researches are carried out.Both theoretical and experimental researches,energy stability of the laser beams,quality of near-field beams included,are demonstrated in order to obtain the optimization of development direction and parameters of pre-amplification system in different technical schemes.Next,based on the study of system reliability,the reliability analysis of typical system is presented.The failure model and fault tree of the current system is established to analyse the main weakness of the fault and to achieve the fault prediction and daily safe operation mode.In the end,based on two large projects,the necessity of state management is discussed.The basic method and model of pre-amplifier system state evaluation are proposed in multi-beam system.The contents of this paper offer a favorable reference for engineering construction of pre-amplifier in multi-beam laser system.
