This paper research the infrared and laser daul-mode compound detection method.Laser radar and infrared are compound in optical path.The work method that infrared guidancing and laser detecting are used to recognize,point and detect moving target in remote distance.Two single-mode detection technologies are able to realize mutual compensation of advantages by combining them together,and they can obtain target's azimuth angle,elevation angle,velocity and distance.The key technologies of infrared and laser compound system include the detection of infrared weak small target,the design and control of double-sided fast steering mirror based on piezoelectric actuating,symmetrical triangular linear frequency modulation coherent laser range and velocity detection and the coherent detection of echo signal.Every key technology is discussed and designed in detail.System indexes and overall design scheme are proposed based on actual application requirements.Principle prototype of infared and laser compound detection system is designed and constructed,and the function of submodule and entire machine are tested.The main research contents and innovation points described in this paper are as follows:1.On account of the characteristic of infrared weak small target,a algorithm of infrared samll target detection based on Otsu of edge pixels is proposed.The algorithm can be used to detect the weak and small target in infrared image effectively.2.A double-sided fast steering mirror based on piezoelectric actuating is designed innovatively.Its mechanical structure and electronics are discussed in detail.The fast steering mirror can make the laser scan target area to improve the efficiency of laser detection.Meanwhile,it can also compensate echo angle of laser.3.A symmtrical triangular linear frequency modulation coherent range and velocity detection laser radar is used to detect the range and velocity of the target.The experiment based on delay fiber and acousto optic frequency shifter indicates range precision 1m and velocity precision 0.25m/s.4.Set up the principle prototype of infrared and laser compound system.On the basis of verifying the submodule of the system,we design the 40 m outdoor experiment.The experiment result indicates that the function of the system met the predetermined technical index.
