Patent Information Service Of Sports Equipment

With the rapid increase in science and technology,the degree of dependence on the competitive sports equipment is increasing,and its role has become increasingly prominent.Science and technology continue to infiltrate the sports training and competition,the level of scientific and technological innovation has become the key to improve the level of competitive sports.The development of advanced sports equipment has become our national key areas of scientific research.The development of sports equipment to enhance the technological content,to achieve import substitution has become an important part of China’s sports planning.Leading the sports equipment technology innovation through the sports competitive intelligence work has become a subject.The purpose of this study is to discuss the necessity and the mechanism of carrying out the patent information service of sports equipment,and try to construct the basic flow,service contents and useful methods of patent information service of sports equipment,to give a case study of sports bicycle from four parts: the patent competition overall environment,the industry key common technology identification,enterprise patent quality comprehensive evaluation,and technology leading enterprises’ characteristics,And finally combined with the status of China’s sports equipment enterprises,we put forward sports bicycle technology competition strategy.In addition to field investigation,interview,literature review and logical analysis,this study mainly adopts competitive intelligence analysis methods.The main conclusions are as follows:First,for sports equipment to carry out patent information service,introducing patent analysis method of competitive intelligence,proving the scientific and reasonable innovation strategy,driven by national policy environment,industry information needs and outer market competition environment.This service is an important part of the construction of sports power,leading an all-round,healthy and sustainable development sports.Second,sports equipment patent information service should follow several principles of goal oriented,combined with social network analysis and visualization methods to provide the content of patent innovation strategy for sports management,sports industry and sports manufacturing enterprises.Third,the US,Japan,Germany and France has many enterprises patent;patent application proportion around the world is constantly changing,which represents the importance of global market.Generally,the most important market had experienced the conversion from Europe to Japan and then to the United States.China is becoming the global first important sports bicycle market;car frame,suspension,steering and saddle are the four largest technologies classification;every enterprise has different technology research tendency;the proportion of American enterprise’s core patent is high,and their overall technical strength is obvious.Fourth,vehicle parts fitting service,suspension,power/seat and polymer application fit the characters of common technolog in sports bicycle;metal casting and forging technology has replaced by polymer processing technology,the various parts of bicycle technolygies have increased cooperation;electrical and electronic technologies have set up independent researches.These findings shows that the rate of technology changing is getting faster,the mean technology classifications in each patent are much more than before,and the new transformation of new technologies are getting faster.Fifth,the patent comprehensive quality evaluation result shows that U.S.companies generally have relatively higher rankings,which are more relevant with patent citations,technology coverage and technical strength and has less relevance with the number of patents.The develop characteristics of major elite U.S.companies are worthy of in-depth analysis.Sixth,the technology leader company has the remarkable characteristics in team building,technical research and development direction.They pay more attention to team building.The reasonable and highly qualified team structure is the key to improve the efficiency of innovation;she grasps the development trend of the industry key technology,introduces the industry mature technology,has the clear global patent layout strategy,and forms a protective barrier in multiple markets.These characteristics may be the potential reason for becoming an elite company.Seven,China’s enterprises’ s core technologies are the carbon fiber composite material preparation,and are lack of development in other technical fields;all patents are in China;paying attention on team cultivation,preparing technology of frame system,in cooperation with the national team and having started in the international arena are the positive sides.Eight,government departments should actively promote the construction of "Industry-University-Research Collaboration" mode,encourage technology introduction strategy,build a common technology platform for industry;industry associations should play the role of a bridge by making standards,promoting the construction of early warning platform;enterprises should make full use of existing resources,increase investment in research and development,construct reasonable team,strengthen the cooperation with sports experts and expand product system.The results of the empirical study show that the applicability of the patent information work of sports equipment can be extended to other projects.
