In process of the modernization of Turkey, the realization of political democratization and economic liberalization, promoted the collapse of traditional society.and accelerated the differentiation and reorganization of social class.Affected by these, the characteristics of the social structure and social class is from the structure of traditional power attachment to the modern pluralistic structure of interest relationship. Social class interaction leaded to the formation of identity. The main source of Turkey class contradiction and conflict were the gap of income, the gap between rural and urban development, the ethnic conflicts, the contradiction between the religious and secular. the government of Turkey built the mechanism of conflict management and social mobility mechanism. The appearance of Civil society groups,who were due to the economic development,the perfect system, the expansion of social middle class, was contribute to social management, and promoted the social development of turkey towards the middle and autonomous.The paper is based on the study of social stratification theory and empirical studies on Turkey. Through historical analysis and case study, the paper discusses the structure of social stratification, the evolution of Turkey, the relation between the class interation and the construction of identity. In the background of modernization, according to the analysis model established, the paper will analysis social stratification in Turkey.The paper has consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction about the paper. Firstly explains the purpose of this paper.Secondly, it introduce the research of the study on Turkey social stratification in domestic and foreign scholars. Finally, these are the summary and analysis of various social stratification theory in this paper involved, and the relevant academic concepts.The second part, From historical dimension,the paper analyzes the social stratification in modern Turkey origin and evolution,and constitutes.The thirst part, From the social class interaction, the paper reveals the internal mechanism of social stratification in Turkey.The fourth part is about the national identity,ethnic identity and the cultural identity.The finally part is the analysis summary fo the paper.
