Tan Yitong's Thought Research

This paper,using "benevolence" an idea of T'an Ssu-t'ung's ideological system,as the point of penetration,expounds the contents of T'an Ssu-t'ung's philosophical Thought,religious Thought,ethical Thought,political Thought and economic Thought,they analyze the basic path and attribution of the Thought system in T'an Ssu-t'ung's Thoughts system.Meanwhile,this paper makes a reflection and summary of the characteristics and historical contributions of the Thoughts of T'an Ssu-t'ung.The article Thought that T'an Ssu-t'ung Thoughts is "benevolence"----"pass"----"equality" as the core and main line: first of all,T'an Ssu-t'ung is using Chinese traditional culture,western culture and Buddhism as the foundation of the Thought of equality Thoughts.In other words,T'an Ssu-t'ung's Thoughts of "benevolence" is the full expression of the idea of equality.Secondly,T'an Ssu-t'ung's philosophical Thought,religious Thought,ethical Thought,political Thought and economic Thought are based on "benevolence" as the starting point,use "pass" as a means and "equality" for the purpose of the paper;Finally,T'an Ssu-t'ung in order to achieve the world of living beings "equality" proposed "Datong society".According to the time,T'an Ssu-t'ung Thoughts is the three structure to Chinese traditional culture,Western Thought and Buddhism Thought constructed.The Chinese traditional culture refers to as Chinese traditional culture;western culture includes Christian and western natural science etc.;Buddhism is mainly Cittamatra,Huayan and in such cases.According to the content,T'an Ssu-t'ung Thoughts can be divided into five aspects: the philosophical Thought,the religious Thought,the ethical Thought,the political Thought and the economic Thought.The philosophical Thought including of "benevolence" theory,"ether" theory,"Xinli" theory and "Rixin" theory four aspects;The religious Thought inthe definition of the connotation of religious including the basis of both political and academic,describes the relationship of Confucianism,Buddhism and Christian;The ethics Thought mainly refers to "put forward the slogan of the ethics net" and the Criticique of the "three cardinal guides" and "five ethics" etc.;The political Thought includes Criticique of the monarchy rule and "to change into the west political" and "civil rights" theory;The economic Thought is as a focus to "Extravagance" view,put forward of specific Persist to " removed Extravagance and Extravagance thrifty ".This paper aims at combing various fields of T'an Ssu-t'ung Thoughts and the historical meaning,mining 1898 to overthrow the monarchy's historical significance,the initiative for heart embodied,and then explore the Xinlis of T'an Ssu-t'ung in order to pay the "Datong society".
