As the increasing physical factors in the environment, the physical properties of the human survival environment are changing due to electromagnetic radiation. The increase of exposure dose, exposure duration and the complexity of electromagnetic radiation contributed to the health hazards of electromagnetic radiation. It is an urgent demand of further study of the electromagnetic radiation damage effect, illustrating the damage mechanism and put forward the hazard prevention. In this study, the research comprised of four parts:the activation of pathogenic virus induced by exposure to electromagnetic radiation;cell malignant transformation induced by long-term exposure to electromagnetic radiation;gene microarray detection of malignant transformed Balb/c-3T3cells;the protective effects of Vitamin C,Vitamin E and hydrogen water from exposure to electromagnetic radiation. The main research contents are as follows.?1?Research on activavtion of Epstein-Barr virus?EBV?when Raji and B95-85-8 cells were exposed to 1800 MHz electromagnetic radiation for 2d,5d and 8d with the average SAR of 4.0 W/kg.The results indicated that when Raji cells were exposed to1800MHz electromagnetic radiation for 2d,5d and 8d,the EBV was not activated, with insignificant early antigen and gene expression change comparing with Sham cells.EBV in the B95-8 cells were significantly activated with viral capsid antigen expression and significantly increased gene expression. The gene expression seemed keeping increased with longer exposure time to 1800MHz electromagnetic radiation.?2?Research on malignant transformation of Balb/c-3T3 cells were exposed to1800 MHz electromagnetic radiation for 40d,60d and 80d with the average SAR of8.0W/kg.The results indicated that 1800 MHz electromagnetic radiation induced Balb/c-3T3 cells increased cell proliferation, changed cell diversion, colony forming ability and cell migration ability. There were visible cell malignant foci found in Balb/c-3T3 cells exposed to 1800 MHz electromagnetic radiation for 40d,60d.The malignant transformed cells developed into visible tumors in severe combined immune deficiency mice. The Balb/c-3T3 cells exposed to 1800 MHz electromagnetic radiation for 80d had weak malignant transformed ability to develop into visible tumors in SCID mice.?3?Research on mechanism of malignant transformation of Balb/c-3T3 cells were exposed to 1800 MHz electromagnetic radiation for 40d,60d and 80d with the average SAR of 8.0W/kg.The results showed the continuously differentially expressed genes were Angpt4,P2rx3 and Ctca.Dhcr24,Temem200b,Mvd,Tubb2b,Kdm7a,Ermp1,Lss and Ltbp4 were significantly variational expressed genes, with the critical correlated gene Ubc.The differentially expressed genes were collected for Gene Ontology?GO?enrichment analysis to find the biological process the differentially expressed genes involved, the cell component the differentially expressed genes located, and the molecular function of the the differentially expressed genes. The results of GOEAST implied the different mechanisms in had Balb/c-3T3cells exposed to 1800MHz electromagnetic radiation for 40d,60d and 80d.When the cells exposed for 40d,the 1800 MHz exerted efforts of metabolism of organic compounds in endoplasmic reticulum to affect the protein synthesis. When the cells exposed for 60d,the combination of nucleotides in nucleus was affected to influence the purine,RNA nucleoside and ATP function. When the cells exposed for 80d,the DNA replication was affected by polymer metabolism and DNA metabolism.Besides, cell apoptosis and cell differentiation had been changed by 1800MHz electromagnetic radiation. The protein-protein network analysis results indicated that pathways in cancer,MAPK pathway,p53 pathway, cytoskeleton signal pathway, focal adhesion, cell cycle, apoptosis,mTOR pathway,JAK-Stat pathway were involved in Balb/c-3T3cells malignant transformation induced by 1800 MHz electromagnetic radiation. The Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes?KEGG?enrichment was analyzed in this study.?4?Research on protective effects of Vitamin C,Vitamin E and hydrogen water from exposure to 1800 MHz electromagnetic radiation for 1h with average SAR of2.0W/kg to study the protective effects of 1800 MHz electromagnetic radiation induced Balb/c-3T3 cells apoptosis decrease after exposure. No significant effects of cell cycle were detected. The content of reactive oxygen species?ROS?increased after exposure. The Balb/c-3T3 cells incubated with culture medium with Vitamin C,Vitamin E and hydrogen water had lower apoptosis and content of ROS.No significant effects of cell cycle were detected when Balb/c-3T3 cells incubated with culture medium with Vitamin C,Vitamin E.When the cells were cultured in medium with hydrogen water, there was a significant decrease of G0/G1 phase proportion and increase of S phase and G2/M proportion.?5?Research on short-term biological effects of exposure to 900 MHz electromagnetic radiation. The results showed that 900MHz electromagnetic radiation induced NIH/3T3 cells apoptosis and S phase arrest after exposure to 900 MHz electromagnetic radiation for 12 days.In this study,we had the research of the biological impacts of short-term exposure and the mechanism of malignant transformation induced by long-term exposure were discussed, the activation of pathogenic virus induced by exposure to 1800 MHz electromagnetic radiation, and the protective effects of Vitamin C,Vitamin E and hydrogen water from injure induced by exposure to 1800MHz electromagnetic radiation. It is believed that this work would be very useful for research of mechanism of health hazard of electromagnetic radiation and design of electromagnetic protection products.
