A New Exploration Of Chinese Medicine Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy of traditional Chinese medicine has the characteristics of Chinese culture and plays an important role in the history of Chinese psychotherapy.An overview of China's history and current states of researches of psychotherapy of traditional Chinese medicine reveals that previous researches mainly focus on specific problems in Chinese medicine. A systematic study of basic research in the field of Chinese medicine is needed. Based on the important value of Psychotherapy of traditional Chinese medicine to the theory and practice of modern psychotherapy, it is worth making a systematic and comprehensive study of traditional Chinese medicine from the perspective of psychology. Based on holism concept, this paper combs and constructs the theoretical system of Psychotherapy of traditional Chinese medicine in the field of psychology according to the theory of modern psychotherapy and the existing researches and cases of Psychotherapy of traditional Chinese medicine. First of all, this paper sorts out and divides the history of Psychotherapy of traditional Chinese into five stages, in which finding influences Chinese traditional philosophy on Psychotherapy of traditional Chinese medicine. Then, this paper defines the Psychotherapy of traditional Chinese medicine from the perspective of psychology,that is the theory and practice of curing of psychological abnormalities in the traditional Chinese medicine system, by directly adjusting patients' psychology and behavior through various means, and defines the object of Psychotherapy of traditional Chinese, which is not explicitly put forward in previous researches. On the basis of previous studies, basic theories of Psychotherapy of traditional Chinese,including "harmonization between soma and spirit","heart controlling mental activities" and "One emotion overcoming the other emotion",the principles of "balance of yin and yang ", "treating the country, treating the people and treating diseases " and "mobilizing the enthusiasm of both patients and doctors " are summed up. The causes of traditional Chinese medicine psychotherapy, including social factors, natural factors, physiological factors and psychological factors; and pathogenesis, including disorder of yin and yang, disorder of qi activity, injuries of viscera, injuries of essence and blood, abnormalities of consciousness; diagnosis,including watching the situation of patients, listening to the sound of patients, asking the patients for their body's situation, and taking the pulse of patients, are analyzed.Methods of Psychotherapy of traditional Chinese from the new perspective of routine treatment and contrary treatment are classified, but also to the role of psychological treatment, that is, emotional, cognitive, behavior-based. Finally, the evaluation of psychological treatment of traditional Chinese medicine put forward its advantages to focus on integrity; focus on dynamic balance; vary, people-oriented; focus on flexibility, life, re-effect; focus on good doctor-patient relationship, which is rich in content but lacks a systematic study. This paper makes an inquiry into the empirical characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine psychological treatment, which makes up for the lack of systematic theoretical guidance and standardized methods of operation, traditional Chinese medicine psychotherapy "unscrupulous" way in the modern psychological treatment of ethical norms, the lack of psychological theoretical research and empirical research. It is difficult to unify the deficiency of modern psychotherapy, and the lack of holistic view of modern psychotherapy is that the deficiency of modern psychotherapy can make up the deficiency of modern psychotherapy "scientism", the deficiency of modern psychological treatment empiricism insufficient. Finally, the author concludes the future direction of Chinese medicine psychological treatment,which includes the integration of research teams,the highlight of the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine treatment, the establishment of local culture in line with the psychological treatment theory and method framework, the focus on clinical evidence and experimental research, the Psychological treatment applied to clinical medicine, the emphasis on traditional Chinese philosophy and cultural background and the concern about the psychological suitability of traditional Chinese medicine therapy. Through the above researches, a new exploration of Psychotherapy of traditional Chinese medicine is expected to be achieved in this thesis, which will make contribution to the theory and practice of modern psychotherapy.
