The heart,the pump of human circulatory system,pumps blood out and leads blood back into the heart,which plays an important role on the supply of body's oxygen and nutrients to maintain the function and metabolism of normal cell.Cardiovascular disease mortality in China accounts for the leading cause of death in urban and rural residents,and the prevalence rate is still in a rising phase.Early diagnosis,progress detection,and early treatment of heart disease is significant in saving lives and improving quality of life.Visualization of cardiac medical image is the bridge of medical imaging and morphology and its related rules.It can help people to find medical rules,explain medical phenomenon,and solve medical problems.Visualization technology is also an effective way for knowledge inheritance,through adding the available knowledge to the cardiac visualization models,which has great application prospects in anatomy teaching,clinical diagnosis,surgical planning and navigation,virtual simulation,drug research and development.Taking heart visualization as the research direction,we researched and discussed on the object of heart visualization,the form of heart visualization,and the focusing function of visualization in the study.We established a series of visual modeling and visualization methods and computer software systems for clinical applications,auxiliary visualization of quantitative analysis Clinic Medical Imaging.In this paper,the main research work and findings include :1.We established of a three-dimensional visualized anatomical model of human heart,an anatomical model with high precision based on real human heart,including 24 anatomical structures.And for the first time we established a three-dimensional model of fiber skeleton of the human heart with its attached valves(mitral,tricuspid,aortic and pulmonary valve),which laid the three-dimensional model foundation for the study of intra-cardiac hemodynamic.2.We established the mathematical geometric transformation matrix of valve planes and the relationship between each other,and applied it to quickly locating in clinical CTA image of valve plane.The establishment of the visual valve plane contributes to solve quantitative analysis of visual consistency.3.We put forward the visualization quantitative analysis of coronary vessel wall---Voxel-map,which helps to overcome the difficulty that it is hard to determine the vessel wall boundary on CTA image by the human vision system to focus plaque identification and analysis on the wall of coronary artery,effectively excluding the adjacent area with similar CT values,which helps to improve the accuracy of quantitative analysis of plaque.4.We also established the cardiovascular image analysis software system of coronary tree for coronary atherosclerotic plaque visualization quantitative analysis.This software can automatically extract the features of small lesions and quantify parameters,which can help to enhance the ability of CTA image on detection the vulnerability of plagues and the stenosis of coronary artery.
