Methods: A prospective, randomized, controlled clinical study model was used.106 cases of cirrhosis ascites were randomized into control group and treatment group, each group has 53 cases. In control group, simple Western medicine was adopted.Patients in treatment group oral Yiqi Huoxue Lishui decoction and use Zhushuitie for external treatment on the basis of control group. To observe abdominal water(ultrasonic testing), total serum bilirubin, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, serum albumin, symptoms and signs of traditional Chinese medicine after treatment. Results:1.The difference of control group and treatment group was not significant at gender, disease duration, ascites quantity(P>0.05); The effect of symptoms curative, ascites, abdominal girth and the overall effect were shown statistical difference between control group and treatment group. The efficacy in treatment group was apparently superior than control group( P<0.05).2. The difference of control group and treatment group was not significant at ALT、AST、TBIL、ALB level before the treatment( P>0.05);After treatment, the level of ALT、AST、TBIL were reduced in both group,ALB was increase in both group. The efficacy in treatment group was apparently superior than control group( P<0.05).3. No obvious adverse reactions. Conclusion: The Yiqi Huoxue Lishui method could increase the level of ALB, reduces the level of ALT, TBIL, improves effectively the life quality and the clinical efficacy for the patients with Qixuxueyu type of cirrhosis ascites.
