A satisfactory sliding resistance of pavement is the guarantee for traffic safety.The selection of sliding resistance indicators is the necessary of both the project quality and project management decisions.However,traditional friction coefficient-based evaluation method,whose limitation is strong,is easily influenced by testing method and conditions.Considering that there is a close relationship between sliding resistance and characteristics of texture morphology,analyzing the relationship between characteristics of texture morphology and sliding resistance are of paramount significance for pavement material selection,pavement maintenance and pavement design.In this paper,traditional 3 light sources-based Photometric stereo is improved,pavement 3D(three-dimensional)texture morphology is extracted,and the 3D texture morphology-based evaluation system of sliding resistance is also established.The research in this study has important theoretical significance and engineering application value on evaluating pavement sliding resistance and reducing traffic accidents.The contents of the paper mainly contain as follows:(1)In order to acquiring pavement texture morphology quickly,comprehensively and accurately,6 light sources method,low-rank approximation,control points-based weighting algorithm and control points-based surface interpolation algorithm are used to improve the traditional 3 light sources-based Photometric stereo.Considering that the pavement texture morphology was generally processed into statistical indicators to evaluate siding resistance,the study finally selects low-rank approximation-based global integration method to acquire pavement texture morphology in order to decrease the impact of control points on reconstitution effect.Compared with traditional Photometric stereo,the proposed algorithm has the following improvements:first,six light sources instead of three light sources are adopted to eliminate incomplete information retrieval;Second,the median filtering method is removed because it will lose more details of images;Third,the proposed algorithm combines the six light sources method with the low-rank approximation to process the problems caused by noise,highlights and shadow.(2)The study defines evaluation indicators from the aspects of highly relevant,wavelength related,shape relevant and comprehensive evaluation for more completely and efficiently describing the roughness characteristics of pavement surface.2D and 3D texture morphology-based characterization indicators were compared.The results show that 2D characterization indicators can not completely express the abundant information of texture morphology.It is necessary to use 3D texture morphology-based characterization indicators to evaluate pavement roughness features.(3)The quadratic fitting optimized GM(1,1)model is used to establish the degradation model of pavement sliding resistance for solving the problem of modeling through small data samples.The physical meaning of model parameters is clear and this model showing a good simulation effect can be used to describe the degradation properties of texture morphology on asphalt mixture surface.Based on the degradation model,the influence of different factors on the degradation characteristics of sliding resistance is also analyzed.Results shows that:?For macro texture morphology indicators,the degradation rate of OGFC is maximum;The degradation rate of mixture will increase with the increasing of nominal maximum aggregate size;Except for Sk,the degradation rate of other indicators are all smaller than MTD;But the degradation terminal values of both SMA and OGFC are superior to AC.?For micro texture morphology indicators,the degradation characteristics becomes more complicated.The abrasion effect on Sk1 and MTD1 is more sensitive than other indicators.(4)The relational model between 2D texture information indicators,3D texture morphology indicators and sliding resistance are respectively established.However,for 2D texture information indicators,it is difficult to obtain good regression result.In this study,multiple quadratic multinomial regression model is finally used to build the relationship between 3D texture morphology indicators and sliding resistance.Besides,IFI(international friction index)was introduced to build the evaluation system of pavement sliding resistance completely based on the 3D texture.This evaluation system can directly finish evaluation process only needing to acquire pavement texture,which is easy to implement and further simplifies the unity between different evaluation indicators.(5)ADR and AAF are established to quantitatively evaluate the differential treatment effect.Additionally,the influence of differential treatment proportion on sliding resistance is also analyzed.Results indicate that the differential treatment can increase the volatility degree of sliding resistance and help to generate new texture morphology,which can delay the degradation process of sliding resistance.But the proportion value of differential treatment should be strictly grasped.A series of the creative researches,such as the acquiring of 3D texture morphology,the characterization of texture morphology,the mechanism analysis and the model establishment are carried out in this paper.These researches will provide theoretical basis for evaluating pavement sliding resistance,and will become the new theory and method for improving asphalt pavement design.
