In modern research and development of the complex mechanical product, the closed-loop design process of "Design-Simulation-Redesign" to the Design Model and Analysis Model is often needed in order to obtain more portable and reliable structure and higher R&D efficiency.Among them, CAD modeling and CAE simulation are two important parts.The CAD software emphasis on products of 2D and 3D modeling, while CAE usually consists of two or more than two analysis subsystem composition, such as dynamic analysis, strength analysis, fatigue analysis, safety analysis, ergonomics analysis and so on.Though different CAE subsystems needs collaborative, each subsystem is often relatively independent with different analysis tools for modeling and simulation, then feedback the analysis results and revision suggestions to the design model. However, the isolated information model tppeared because of the information inconsistency in different engineering fields. It is difficult to implement the analysis and integration in the system level, especially when the model is complex and many subsystem simulations are existed.At present, integrated information model for the design and analysis integration oriented global performance analysis is lacking.On the basis of previous research work and achievements, the Design-Analysis Integration Oriented Complex Mechanical System Product Information Model is studied.The design and analysis integrated information model based on multi-representation architechture and the full product infromation model are proposed.The main research work and results are as follows:(1) The expression of product model and analysis model, data model gap between CAD information source and CAE information demands are analyzed. And take a complex mechanical system of Load-Haul-Dump (LHD) as an example to present the information model during the CAE (dynamics, strength, fatigue, ergonomics and safety analysis. The problem involved in the existed design and analysis integration and the research challenges and difficulties in the complex electromechanical products design are given.(2) According to the common problems in the R&D of the complex mechanical products, the existing MBD data set is extended. The Full Product Infromation Model, as well as Extended CAD Data Model is proposed to apply to the complex mechanical system design and analysis. This model is the master model of guiding the design and analysis of integration,descriping all information of the compelx mechanical system.(3) The design and analysis of integrated information model (DACM) based on multi description framework (MRA) is proposed, which is not only the integration between design and analysis tools, but also the integration of semantic. The method of multi-model mapping is proposed to mapping the Full Product Infromation model to the sub-analysis system. The information framework model and information transmission line between the design model and the main analysis model (dynamics, FEA and fatigue analysis) in the complex mechanical system from concept design to constructed design process are created.(4) The design and analysis integrated information model based on multi-representation architecture is studied though an example of LHD. The LHD design and analysis process oriented the overall performance of the LHDs is given. The proposed information model framework and information transfer process are verified. And taking the working unit design as an example, using the existing commercial software, the design and analysis integrated process according to the proposed information integration model are detatiled explained, the semantic integration framework based on MRA is achieved.(5) The design and analysis integrated research system oriented the performance of the LHD is proposed. Based on top-down and oriented driving design of virtual prototype concept, the LHD machine design and performance oriented multi body dynamics performance analysis and simulation, machine assembly and parameter check and the various subsystems of the LHD combination, a new LHD Innovation Design Research and development system is formed.(6) The system development framework and the implementated technology are given, through the secondary development, based on CAXA, CAXA-Vehicle and Simpack system, a new programme system is developed.The CAD/CAE integrated prototype system of the LHD working unit based on MRA is implemented.(7) Using the Ontology method, the Ontology description of the information frame is discussed. Especially according to the integrated part of the 3D modeling and mechanical multibody dynamics, based on the master model, the interaction model and operation technology and realization technology of design and analysis integration of the complex mechanical system is discussed.Through the above research, the design and analysis integrated information model based on multi-representation architechture and the full product infromation model are established.And take the design and analysis of a complex mechanical system-Load Haul Dump as an example, the feasibility of the information integration model is verified.
