The square billet of extra low carbon steel is mainly used in communication and Electronic information industries,the manufacturing products are mainly including copper clad steel wire,galvanized steel wire,different wires and pins and pin thread of electronic components,and so on.The square billet of extra low carbon steel is manufactured quite hard relative to the blank of extra low carbon steel,especially the manufacturing of small square billet of extra low carbon steel is more difficult.So,the experimental investigation is very significantly,which in production technology designing aspect and in the key controlling technology in each process aspect.The key controlling technology of extra low carbon steel billet is mainly researched in the aspects as follows in this paper.The analysis of extra low carbon steel billet of SWRM6 is taken,which comes out a problem of frozen flow in trough water slot when continuous pouring early in its development.The reasons are as follows,on one hand,the heat drop of trough during casting is oversize,as a result that the liquid steel temperature is closing to the liquid line,so freezing steel is formatted in trough water slot and botts the trough water slot.On another hand,the designing of trough is irrational,and there is dead zone,which causes the response time for liquid steel reaching each trough water slot is very different from each other.There are 8 schemes of optimum designing the trough in the Number 1 continuous caster in Qian Gang considering the trough structure design,and the optimal scheme is chosen by calculating flow field and RTD curve of each one,then the optimal scheme is put into effect in field rebuilding.For the square billet of extra low carbon steel of SWRM6,the temperature field and solidifying organization are calculated through making models using the software of Procast,which can not only provide guidance for changing pulling rate and water rate of continuous metal cast processing parameters;but also confirm whether the temperature of straightening position is out of steel brittle zone,which can avoid coming out cross cracks in the inner arc side due to bearing tension stress when the casting blank is straightening.The optimum water distributed system can be confirmed by calculating and analyzing the solidifying organization,for reaching optimum between water rate and organization.The organization continuous transition dynamics curve of SWRM6 can be gained by researching the thermal simulation of extra low carbon steel of SWRM6;The different processes material organization morphological and phase composition are analyzed,which provides guidance for researching the deep processing rolled steel wire's nature.The CCT curve of organization transition and real production condition can provide parameter range for setting of slow cool process parameters of workshop.The controlling phase composition process system can be formulated according to both the different phase formation dynamics procedure and thermodynamics conditions,and the phase's influence in deep processing.The reasons to the breakage of extra low carbon steel SWRM6 dragging can be founded through analyzing mechanics of breakage deeply,to definite controlling product quality measures from rolling down production process;Meanwhile,the methods of increasing rolled steel wire deep dragging nature and reducing broken wire rate is gained according to the controlled cooling process in high-speed wire stock workshop.
