China has a wide territory,a lot of population,very rich nature resources,much variable climate conditions,all the complex & changeable landforms & terrains,geostructure environment;geo-hazards in China has lots of characteristics.And for example: widely & variably distributed,very influent & conspicuous hidden geological hazards points happened very much frequently,China has been one of the most geological hazards happening nations severly.With the large-scale exploitation of resources,geological hazards continuously occurred,which it not only seriously threatened the safety of the local people(life,property,etc.),but also it seriously endangered the sustainable development of society.As for geological hazards risk assessment work,it's very instructive to grasp the geological hazards occurrence cause,inducing-mechanism,influence extent,planning and deployment of geological hazards prevention and control and disposition & control engineering,improving the geological hazards management level.It was of great significance.The risk assessment of geological hazards has been received special attention.A large number of research results about geological hazards risk assessment emerged in recent years.However,geological hazards assessment is a complex system,which it not only related to many disciplines,but also it included extensive contents.Geological hazards risk assessment research work still should be further enriched and improved.The author made a bold trial by use of the qualitative and quantitative methods in geological hazards risk assessment research work.It not only have accelerated theories in geo-hazards but also has been greatly significant in practice.The contributions have been made in the dissertation:(1)The basic data of geological hazards and data of field environment in Youyu County systematically were collected and sorted out.(2)After having analyzed the type distribution characteristics and formation conditions in Youyu County,the author summarized in details the formation mechanism and distribution laws.It provided scientific basis for the construction of information system for assessment of geological hazards in Youyu County(3)According to the analysis of geo-hazards data in Youyu County,With GM,the author forecasted number of geological hazards which would be occurred in the next ten years in Youyu County.With tendency analysis & risk assessment model,the author built a geological hazards zoning model,the whole Youyu County was devided into four area: High,middle,low & none-susceptible area.(4)According to different types of geological hazards.The author built different evaluation model: The slope stability assessment probability model with Rosenbluth analysis method,the stability probability of Dapo village was evaluated;with Multifactors comprehensive evaluation method,the author established evaluation index model of debris flow risk and optimized weight of geological hazards element,And in the case of Youyu County,The author used for risk assessment.The assessment results were verified the reliability of the model.The paper has obtained the following innovative results:(1)The author constructed the information database of geological hazards County and analyzed the geological hazards mechanism in Youyu County,finally established the evaluation index system of geological disasters.(2)According to the analysis of geo-hazards data in Youyu County,With GM,the author forecasted number of geological hazards which would be occurred in the next ten years in Youyu County.With tendency analysis & risk assessment model,the author builds a geological hazards zoning model,the whole Youyu County range is devided into four area: High,middle,low & none-susceptible area.According to different types of geological hazards.The author built different evaluation model: The slope stability assessment probability model with Rosenbluth analysis method,the stability probability of Dapo village was evaluated;with Multi-factors comprehensive evaluation method,the author established evaluation index model of debris flow risk and optimized weight of geological hazards element,And in the case of Youyu County,The author used for risk assessment.The assessment results verify the reliability of the model.(3)The author designed a geological hazards management information system in Youyu County.And geological hazards management job was developed more conveniently and efficiently.
