The patriotism education is the eternal theme in college ideological and politicaleducation. As the representative of the scientific view of the motherland, Marx’shomeland view’s core is patriotism, and the education of the Marx’s homeland view is anew stage of development of the traditional patriotism education. Developing theeducation of, college students Marx’s homeland view is the urgent requirement of thenew period of reforming and deepening the patriotic education in colleges anduniversities, is an important measure to promote college students studying andimplementing the spirits of the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Partyof China, actively participating the publicity and education of the Chinese characteristicsocialism, and fulfilling the socialist core values. It is of great significance forpromoting the construction of harmonious campus culture, and training students whohave both ability and political integrity. This paper is based on the basic principles ofMarxism, specific education and teaching practice, and for the purpose to improve theeducation effectiveness of the Marx’s homeland view. Specifically, this topic is based onthe homeland view and the educational theory, of the classic Marxist writers and thecommunist Party of China, to guide constructing the education theory system ofcontemporary Chinese college students Marx’s homeland view, and on the basis of theauthorities survey result, to dissects current situation of contemporary Chinese collegestudents Marx’s homeland view. Finally according to the above problems, authorproposes some revision suggestions on the improvement of the education’s effectiveness.The dissertation consists of four parts, which is divided into seven chapters.The first part is about the basis of study on the education of contemporary Chinesecollege students Marx’s homeland view, including the first chapters and the secondchapters. This part focuses on the background and significance, the domestic andforeign research status, the definition of related concepts, the research ideas andmethods, and the difficulties and innovation. And then author using the philosophymethod and comparative method, analyses the education theory of the homeland viewof the Chinese and foreign thinkers, Classic Marxist writer, the main founders and thegenerations of central collective leadership of the cpc, shows the sequences of educationthought of the human social’s homeland view.The second part, is the fundamental research in contemporary Chinese college students Marx’s homeland education, including the third chapter and the fourth chapter.This part focuses on the construction of education theory system of the contemporaryChinese college students Marx’s homeland view, and elaborates from six aspects as goal,content, feature, principle, structure and condition.The third part, including the fifth chapter, is the empirical research in theeducation’s status of the contemporary Chinese college students Marx’s homeland view.This part is mainly based on reliable survey data and modern mathematical statisticalsoftware such as SPSS to analyses education’s status of the contemporary Chinesecollege students Marx’s homeland view quantificationally and qualitatively. Surveyfound that, since the beginning of the new century, the overall status of the education ofcollege students Marx’s homeland view is good, the mainstream of college studentshomeland view is positive, and with some characteristics of the times. College studentshave deep affection for their motherland, our party, socialism, masses of the people.Communist ideal and faith of most students are very firmly, but the view with"socialism and capitalism gradually assimilated" has great fluctuation. Students payclose attention to major domestic and international events related the nationalsovereignty and honor, they hope for a peaceful settlement of the Taiwan question,opposing ethnic separatism. They set a high value on the Party and government’s work,and they have full of confidence in the development of socialism with Chinesecharacteristic and the great cause of national reunification. Girls’ desires to join theParty are stronger than boys, and on the guiding position of Marxism’s self-identity arealso higher. The student party members on the work of the Party and governments’ self-identity are higher than the non Party member students. Meanwhile, the problems likethat collage students have fuzzy understanding of some relevant problems of homelandview, some students’ communist ideal beliefs become weakening, students patrioticenthusiasm lack rational guide, part of students feel puzzled about the future of themotherland, become increasingly prominent. And the main reasons are the laggingeducational philosophy and content, single educational method and channel, complexeducational environment, the lacking of subject and object of education.The fourth part is the countermeasure study on the education of contemporaryChinese college students Marx’s homeland view, including the sixth chapter and theseventh chapter. This part by the guidance of the basis of study, fundamental research,empirical research, suggests countermeasures from some aspects as exploring educational material, innovating educational mode, strengthening educational protection,creating learning atmosphere, and at last summarize all the paper, points out theshortcomings and future research direction.
