With the development of the knowledge-based economy, knowledge innovation has become the main driving force for promoting economic growth. Colleges and universities as a core body of knowledge innovation system has played an important role in the training of high-level innovative talents, promoting basic research and original innovation in high-tech fields,which has made them increasingly become a major force in the world to enhance the competitiveness of the national innovation. Especially the knowledge triangle strategy proposed by EU, further interpretation of the core role of the colleges and universities in the synergistic interaction between the scientific research, personnel training and technological innovation, which provides a new theoretical and practical framework for China to actively support university innovation capacity building to strengthen the construction of University-Industry collaborative innovation system. Of course, in the face of Chinese Universities innovation capability has long been inadequate, especially disjointed in personnel training, scientific research, and economic and social development issues, has become an important obstacle restricting China’s independent innovation capability. Based on this background, this research tries to study the process mechanism of knowledge triangle-based university-industry Collaborative Innovation from the theoretical and empirical research of the university innovation ability.This paper mainly uses the literature analysis, case study method, questionnaire method, statistical analysis method, especially uses "B-Z" reaction model of self-organization theory as a basis for building a mathematical simulation model through metaphor on how to improve the university innovation ability to promote University-Industry collaborative innovation. Specifically, this paper mainly focuses on three issues:(1) Key dimensions and the impact factors of university innovation capabilities in the process of University-Industry collaborative innovation?(2) The dominant ability factors of colleges and universities in the process of University-Industry collaborative innovation?(3) The process mechanism of the dynamic evolution of knowledge triangle-based university-industry collaborative innovation?Through theoretical and empirical research, this paper draws the following conclusions:(1) Around the knowledge triangle, this paper carries out the related theoretical analysis and case study, and put forward the related concepts:The ability of knowledge production on the basis of scientific research, the ability of knowledge dissemination on the basis of education, the ability of knowledge transfer on the basis of technological innovation, and on the basis of the empirical research, this paper has further defined the constituent elements of the ability of knowledge production, the ability of knowledge dissemination and the ability of knowledge transfer and their importance in the process of University-Industry collaborative innovation. According to the degree of the relative importance, the constituent elements of the ability of knowledge production are the stock of knowledge, organizational resources and human capital. the constituent elements of the ability of knowledge dissemination are knowledge encoding capabilities and teaching resources; the constituent elements of the ability of knowledge transfer are incentive mechanism, organizational distance and social capital.(2)By defining the performance of university-industry collaborative innovation, namely, under the driving of the development of the social economy, to promote the coordination evolution of knowledge production, knowledge dissemination and knowledge transfer thus realizing the depthly cooperation between universities and industries in scientific research, education and technology innovation, this paper builds collaborative innovation process model, based on193valid questionnaires to further carry out the empirical study, by analyzing knowledge production capacity, knowledge dissemination capacity and knowledge transfer capacity and their synergistic interaction on university-industry collaborative innovation mechanism.The resulting empirical conclusion one:the interactions between knowledge production ability and knowledge transfer ability have a certain repulsion effect and play a negative role in a certain extent on university-industry collaborative innovation performance.The interactions between knowledge production ability and knowledge dissemination ability, as well as the interaction between knowledge transfer ability and knowledge dissemination ability play a positive role on research cooperative innovation performance.Conclusion two:the ability of knowledge production is the dominant factor for universities to participate in university-industry collaborative innovation.(3) By taking metaphor as the research method to introduce self-organization theory of synergetics concept, this paper defines universities variables in the process of university-industry collaborative innovation, including university research system based on systems theory, state variables of knowledge production capacity, knowledge dissemination capacity and knowledge transfer capacity, and control variables of external input mechanism. Meanwhile, take full advantage of the similarities between the characteristics of a typical phenomenon of self-organization "B-Z"reaction model and university research system, based on the empirical findings, this paper establishs a mathematical model of co-evolution between the three university research system capacities, and uses mathematical simulation software to simulate the evolution trend of internal state of the three abilities of the university research system under different external inputs mechanism. Finally, according to the empirical conclusion that the ability of knowledge production is the dominant factor for universities to participate in university-industry collaborative innovation, based on slaving principle of sequence parameter of self-organization, this paper defines the knowledge production capacity as the sequence parameter of university scientific research system,and constructs the system evolution equation of sequence parameter by using adiabatic elimination principle to scientific forecast capacity evolution of31university research system in the process of university-industry collaborative innovation, and the resulting empirical conclusion:the synergistic relationship between the capacities of university scientific research system significantly influence the research collaborative innovation performance under the strong external input mechanism. Theoretical contribution and innovation of this paper are mainly reflected in the following three aspects:(1) Put forward the process and competency framework of university-industry collaborative innovation based on the knowledge triangle, enrich and develop the research collaborative innovation theory;(2) By taking metaphor as the research method to introduce self-organization theory of synergetics concept, analysis of the nature of University Scientific research system in the process of university-industry collaborative innovation;(3) By taking metaphor as the research method to introduce self organization theory of "B-Z" reaction model, analysis of the process mechanism of the dynamic evolution of knowledge triangle-based university-industry collaborative innovation,to provide scientific the policy basis for our country university on how to adjust the internal ability structure to enhance innovation performance.
