The party’s social cohesion is related to whether the party’s ruling foundation isfirm and the party’s ruling history can maintain for a long time. Based on cohesion asthe breakthrough point, this paper focuses on the research of the relations of rulingparty and society and strives to build the analysis framework of ruling party’s socialcohesion. This will have important academic value for promoting the research aboutruling party to return to society, for enriching and developing the ruling party’s theorysystem and for deepening the ruling party’s research on the law of ruling. In practice,one of the most important missions of the Party’s Eighth National Congress is to holdbanner high, pool our strength, unite and lead the people to strive to complete thebuilding of a moderately prosperous society in all respects. In a developing bigcountry with a population of about1.3billion, in the increasingly diverse ideas andvalues under the background of social transformation, in-depth study of the systemform and path selection of the party’s social cohesion, will have very importantpractical application value for promoting the party widely reach a consensus, poolingstrength, gathering strong positive energy to promote the reform and open policy.This paper begins with the definition of cohesion and social cohesion of theruling party, analyses the compositions, system form and the value function of theruling party’s social cohesion, and combines with the reality of the socialtransformation in our country, analyzes and summarizes the current status and reasonsof the party’s social cohesion. On this basis, according to the characteristics of thecontemporary Chinese social transformation and the public psychological changes,further discusses the specific path of transition to enhance the party’s social cohesion.The thesis consists of introduction, six chapters of the text and epilogue.The introduction part briefly illustrates significance and value of the selectedtopic of this paper, expounds the current progress in the study of this topic inacademia, and introduces the research ideas and research methods of this paper, andthe research emphasis, difficulties and innovations.The first chapter analyses the general theories of the ruling party’s socialcohesion. Firstly, based on the analysis and interpretation of concept of cohesion,party’s social cohesion and the ruling party’s social cohesion, put forward the maininfluence factors of the ruling party’s social cohesion, namely, the value target of theruling party, the ruling party’s leaders and the political authority, government performance and institutional justice, the ruling morality and ruling image, and socialpsychology, etc. Secondly, the paper builds the logical framework of analyzing theruling party’s social cohesion, ruling party comprehensively enhance the rulingparty’s social cohesion around the value goal, organization network, policy supply,media use and other aspects. Finally analyzes the value and functions of enhancingthe ruling party’s social cohesion to party, society and national level.The second chapter mainly analyzes the history and the experience of theconstruction of the party’s social cohesion in the partial ruling period; teases thetraditional ways and means of enhancing the party’s social cohesion under the plannedeconomic system; analyzes the advantages and challenges faced by enhancing theparty’s social cohesion in the accelerating period of social transformation.The third chapter mainly from the aspects of value objective and ideologyanalyses how to enhance the party’s social cohesion. This chapter analyzes thatChinese Communist Party is a party of strong value pursuit, cherished valueambitious from the date of its birth, and through the party’s ideological work and theconstruction of the socialist core value system, constantly promote the party’s politicalideal to the society, which distributed the core of the decentralized social forces; Bythe common ideal faith and the Chinese dream of the party and the people, make theparty condense the inner force of the society.The fourth chapter mainly from the aspects of ruling party’s leaders andorganizational network analyzes how to enhance the party’s social cohesion. Thischapter analyzes the ruling party’s leaders, the core leadership of the ruling party, theruling backbone team how to uphold the scientific concept of ruling, democraticruling and ruling in accordance with the law, how to strengthen the ruling morality,restore the ruling image, continuously obtained people’s approval and support for theruling party. At the same time, this chapter also puts forward party’s basicorganization network is the node for connecting the party with the society, its settingmode, function and activity way directly affect the social cohesion of the ruling party,therefore, along with the change of social structure, we should improve the network ofthe ruling party, debug function of the grass-roots party organizations, build a service-oriented party organization.The fifth chapter mainly from the aspects of policy supply analyzes how toenhance the party’s social cohesion. Put forward by expanding citizens’ political participation, strengthening political coordination and communication, employingsocial elite, absorbing the excellent member to join the party to further open theparty’s ruling system; By building a popular policy system of the people’s livelihoodand fair allocation of social resources and social opportunities to enhance the party’ssocial cohesion.The sixth chapter mainly from the aspects of using media analyzes how to makefull use of the mass media, non-governmental organizations as the main fulcrum ofsocial cohesion, the maximum to enhance the party’s social cohesion. First, thischapter analyses the important role of mass media to enhance the party’s socialcohesion, and taking advantage of the new mass media to promote ideologicalleadership and penetration; increase the information open pace, enhance the rulingcredibility; Timely response to the focus of the general masses, correctly guide publicopinion on the internet. This chapter also from the angle of the concept of governanceanalyzes how the party to strengthen cooperation with non-governmentalorganizations to widely absorb social strength.
