Researches On Contemporary Servicemen’s Core Values Cultivation

Based on the background and historical conditions of our army’s military preparedness under the situation of informationization, focusing on the theme of contemporary servicemen’s core values cultivation, referring to the classical Marxist theories, the Chinese Communist leaders’ relative discussion, and theory of the socialistic core values system’s construction, using modern psychology, education and sociology theory for reference, adopting some methods like theoretical speculations, qualitative research, case study and action research, this thesis deeply analyzes the current situation of the contemporary servicemen’s core values cultivation, introspect profoundly the problems existing in the army’s contemporary servicemen’s core values cultivation. Moreover, the thesis uses those problems as the starting point and foothold of the research, and systematically explores and reveals the theory and methods for contemporary servicemen’s core values cultivation. In theory construction part, this thesis focuses on revealing the formation mechanism of servicemen’s core values from the individual values psychological level, and revealing the core values cultivation principles from the army’s cultivation practice level. While in methods exploring part, this thesis brings out some systematical methods for the further cultivation of contemporary servicemen’s core values.According to the thinking logic:"current situation introspection and problems introduction","law revealing and theory construction","methods exploration and problems solving", the thesis goes on in six chapters.The first chapter is introduction, which is for the current situation’s introspection and the problems revealing. From eight aspects, such as political situation, economical pattern, military background, cultural environment, etc., this chapter shows the time and historical background, so as to fix the researches’ realistic foundation. This chapter generalizes and combs study on the worldwide contemporary servicemen’s core values and their limitation, summarizes the current situation of our core values cultivation, reveals some problems in the cultivation, for example,"the understanding for the cultivation is too simple, the contents of the cultivation is too rational, the methods of the cultivation is superficial, the organization for cultivation is departmentalization, the result of the cultivation is not fixed". This chapter also confirms the starting point and foothold, which makes the thesis "having a definite object in view". Moreover, this chapter also explains the value, thinking and methods of the research.The second chapter is mainly about the combing of the thesis theoretical foundation. From "human-essence theory","values-relation theory","social-communicating theory" and "inoculation theory", we can sum up relative theories about classical Marxist theories. From "key-link theory","primacy-of-the-most-important-thing theory","engineers-of-the-human-soul theory","core-values theory","education-strengthen-the-army theory", we can sum up the explication about ideological and political education made by the leader group cores of three generations as well as Hu Jintao and Xi Jinping. From "interactive community theory","individual internalization theory" and "subconscious theory", we can abstract theories of western philosophy, psychology and sociology for reference. From "spiritual life","emotional path","basic strategies", we can get the reference theory of Chinese traditional culture. According to the instructional theory, the western modern theory for reference, and reference theory of Chinese traditional culture, this chapter builds the main theory resources which can hold the contemporary servicemen’s core values cultivation.The third, fourth and fifth chapter are mainly about the theory construction of this thesis.From the viewing angle of historical investigation, concept definition and connotation analysis, the third chapter systematically analyzes the essence and connotation of contemporary servicemen’s core values and its cultivation.From different aspects, such as the premise condition, individual features, psychological path and inner mechanism of servicemen’s core values, the fourth chapter reveals the forming mechanism of servicemen’s core values. The premise condition of core values forming is the servicemen’s "inner needs","self-consciousness", and "social practices". The individual features showed during the forming of servicemen’s core values are "diverse conflict","self-examine choice", and "cultural feedback". The psychological path of core values forming is "elementary perception","logical understanding","psychological identification","concept internalizing", and "action externalizing". The inner mechanism of servicemen’s core values forming includes "motivational factors and driving mechanism","identifying factors and accepting mechanism","social factors and restricting mechanism". From different aspects, such as "educational effect mechanism","environmental influence mechanism", and "system guarantee mechanism", the fifth chapter discusses the cultivation mechanism."Educational effect mechanism" is mainly about the "contact" between educator and educatee, and the "interaction" mechanism and "feedback" mechanism between them."Environmental influence mechanism" mainly discusses the "directing" mechanism of social environment, the "influencing" mechanism of group environment, the "drawing" mechanism of the object as strengthening the army, the "edification" mechanism of military culture."System guarantee mechanism" is mainly about the "enforceable implementation","daily practice" and "normative construction" of the system.The sixth chapter is the study of practical methods based on the theoretical analyses, which includes "normal form transition","pattern construction","methods exploration", etc. The "normal form transition" is mainly about the transition of character, contents and mechanism. The "pattern construction" future analyzes and reveals the deep connotation of five patterns---"classroom based, channel based, rhythm based, position based, battlefield based". In "methods exploration" part, based on long term practice, this thesis explores the core values cultivation methods named "6+1" and "9ways"."6+1" means "ideological education, public guidance, model heroes, cultural edification, practice, system guarantee" plus "leaders take the lead"."9ways" means "systematic project, high quality class, cooperation among districts, classified order, culture and arts, subordinate combined with superior, informational network, interaction between officers and soldiers". These two methods provide systematic and scientific practical methods for the cultivation.The last part is appendix, including cases of the implementation of contemporary servicemen’s core values cultivation carried out in some troops and military universities. Its objective is to improve and explain all the theory, methods and modes.
