Political security determines a country’s survival and development,，sothe political security issues has been attached great importance to byCountries around the world. Globalization and social transformation, notonly increases the risk of social origin, and magnified the impact of risksand the potential results.As result, Globalization and social transformationhave made some challenges to political security o China. How to preparefor and respond to these challenges, has become the theoretical andpractical issues of contemporary China’s political security. Investigation has two basic dimensions of political security, theeffective operation of State power and civil rights protection. First of all,social order is the core value of political security. The existence anddevelopment of any society must be founded on a certain social order. Ifthere is no rational social order, people’s political, economic and culturallife must be in disorder.However, maintaining social order relies oneffective functioning of State power. The other hand, freedom, dignity isthe high value of human political civilization. For human existence anddevelopment, it not only has enormous impact, but also has far-reaching.Civil rights connotation of noble human values of freedom, dignity, toachieve these values will require effective protection of citizen rights.Therefore, the political security not only needs to reflect the order of values,but also need to reflect the civil rights connotations of human values offreedom, dignity.With the deepening of globalization and social transformation, thecurrent Chinese political security starts to face the challenges of globalization, but also affected by domestic factors. While globalizationbrought opportunities to China, it also posed a great challenge to Chinesepolitical security. Meanwhile, during the social transition and contradiction,Public conflicts, religious conflicts and ethnic conflicts, as well asemerging expression and participation in the network are having an impacton political security. Investigate the reality of contemporary China’spolitical security, the main source of the problem is that the effectiveness ofState power has been reduced and Civil rights protection is seriouslymissing. Therefore, in order to overcome these challenges, ContemporaryChina’s political security must follow the principle of unity of State powerand civil rights, while enhancing the effectiveness of State power, shouldimprove effectiveness of civil rights guarantee.
